Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the picturesque Yu Garden. Situated in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its clever layout and delicate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is one of the three most renowned peaks in Southern China.
Yuyuan Old Street - Next, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, near the Old City God Temple. The area features many traditional Chinese buildings now serving as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, visit the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest structure in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second-highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Following that, visit the Bund area, the essence of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, visitors come to the Bund for its charming riverside scenery and unique Western and Gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.
Shanghai - Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel, or you may enjoy your own time at nearby Nanjing Road.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Zhujiajiao water town is renowned nationwide, with a history of over 1,700 years. Covering 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, known as Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a bright pearl amidst lakes and mountains. Three places in the water town are worth visiting: Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge. Your tour guide will accompany you to these sites.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Built in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, the Jade Buddha Temple is a famous Buddhist shrine and an active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in spreading Buddhism through cultural means, including lectures, library services, Buddhist academic publications, and regular cultural activities.
Tianzifang - Later, conclude at Tianzifang, an old-style cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.
Shanghai Pudong International Airport - After the tour, you will be driven to Pudong International Airport for your flight to Guilin (MU9223 21:15-23:55). The flight takes approximately 2.5 hours.

Guilin - The guide will meet you in your hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. You will be taken to the famous Reed Flute Cave, approximately a 30-minute drive away.
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Upon arrival at the cave, you will enter the underground karst cave and marvel at the stunning formations of stalagmites and stalactites.
Reed Flute Cave is a renowned karst cave with numerous stalagmites and stalactites in the shapes of bamboo shoots, pillars, curtains, and flowers, transforming it into a magnificent underground palace. Inside the cave, you can discover more astonishing sights, such as stone lions, miniature forests, pagodas, and crystal chambers. Each has a romantic or intriguing story associated with it. The guide’s vivid interpretation, along with the lighting, adds mystery to the scene. The cave visit lasts about 40 minutes.
Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour drive, you will reach the entrance for the Longji Terraces, where you will purchase Longji entrance tickets for the rice terraces in Ping’an Village. This village has the most famous and beautiful rice terraces in Longji and requires about a 30-minute drive from the entrance ticket office.
Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, you will take a moderate trek along steps to Ping’an Zhuang Village. The walk takes about 40 minutes. Your guide will lead you on a stroll around the village, where you can glimpse the local Zhuang people’s unique wooden stilted houses, and you can have lunch in the village.
After a short lunch break, continue your terrace exploration to the No.2 Viewing Platform (Seven Star with the Moon), a 15-minute walk, which is a fantastic spot for a bird’s-eye view of the Longji Terraces beneath your feet. You will have ample time to take pictures and enjoy the fresh air at the platform. Then, head to No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers), requiring 30 minutes via the flat path.
Guilin - Afterwards, take a private car to your Guilin hotel around 18:00 PM, and enjoy free time.

Guilin - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel around 07:45 AM, and then escort you to the Zhujiang pier, where you will start the Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo (4-star boat with buffet lunch).
Li River - Boarding is scheduled at 9:20 AM, and the journey takes about 4 hours. With the guide’s company and interpretation, you can immerse yourself in the stunning karst landscape of rolling hills, verdant forests, odd caves, and tranquil villages along the Li River. A buffet Chinese lunch will be offered on board before reaching Yangshuo at 2:00 PM.
Xianggong Mountain - After disembarkation, you will be driven to see Yangshuo Xianggong Hill. You will climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top of Xianggong Hill. Please inform the guide in advance if you need a walking stick. Situated between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of the best viewing platforms in Guilin to appreciate the beauty of the Li River. The breathtaking view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
Yangshuo County - At the end, your guide will escort you to your Yangshuo hotel, and you will have free time.
There is an optional night show in Yangshuo, ‘Impression Sanjie Liu,’ performed above and on the Li River against verdant hills. The dreamlike stage effect and original singing and dancing of national minorities have earned the performance a great reputation among visitors. The show begins at 20:00 and lasts for 70 minutes; ticket prices range from CNY 268 to CNY 368, depending on the seats. If interested, the guide will reserve tickets for you and escort you to the site after dinner.

Yangshuo County - In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel around 09:00 AM, and then escort you to the Yulong River, where you will start the Yangshuo Yulong bamboo boat tour.
Yulong River - Taking a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River (or Dragon River), a tributary of the Li River, is a very relaxing way to enjoy the highly scenic area south of Yangshuo. Here, you can enjoy the stunning scenery and views of country life on a non-motorized raft in the traditional way with a gondolier who steers you over the breakwaters past many small mud-brick villages and farmlands. Once on the bamboo raft, sitting and enjoying the peaceful countryside and limestone mountains, the beauty of this experience unfolds before you. Even if you have cycled the area with a few hidden stretches approaching the river, the view from the river is very different. The boat ride lasts for 50 minutes, one way.
Fuli Ancient Town - Next, travel to Yangshuo Fuli Town by car; the duration is about 20 minutes. In this town, you will experience the life of local farmers. First, your guide will escort you to a local market, then head to the old streets to see the fan, paintings, and water buffalo near the river (end of the street).
Xingping Town - Once a sleepy riverside village, Xingping has grown into Xingping Town, where the old center can be easily explored in about 1 hour. Xingping has a long history, with many buildings dating back to the Qing and Ming dynasties. On local market days, the town comes to life and can get quite busy with locals from surrounding villages coming to buy and sell their produce. Restaurants and coffee shops sell the local specialty, beer fish, and local handicrafts, ranging from really cheap handmade jewelry. Additionally, the scenery around Xingping is magnificent, and you can see the scenery immortalized on the national 20 RMB note.
Guangxi Airport Management Group Guilin Liangjiang International Airport Company - After lunch at Xingping, your guide will escort you to Guilin airport for your flight to Xi’an, possibly taking the GJ8746 20:10–22:05. The flight takes around 2 hours.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - Upon arrival in Xi’an, you will be promptly picked up and transferred to the hotel (driver only, no guide).

Xi’an - In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your Xi’an hotel lobby at 9:00 AM, then transfer you to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, requiring an 80-minute drive, 45 km.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - The guide will reserve tickets for you online in advance and help you skip the line at the Museum entrance. Following the guide, you will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum by visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Although the clay warriors and horses have been buried for over 2,200 years, they remain vivid with distinct appearances. You will spend at least two and a half hours exploring this amazing site.
Small Goose Pagoda - Next, you will transfer to Small Wild Goose Pagoda, located inside Jianfu Temple, about one kilometer south of Xi’an city proper. It is one of the two famous and important Buddhist pagodas erected in the Tang Dynasty about 1,300 years ago. Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its large neighbor, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, are two important Buddhist sites, dating back to the Tang Dynasty, 1,300 years ago.
The two pagodas were a symbol of Chang’an (Constant Peace) city. Xi’an (West Peace) was called Chang’an until the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), when Beijing became the capital of China. Chang’an had served as the capital for ten dynasties.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, you will transfer to the city wall. You can walk or cycle around the wall, with bike fees paid locally if you choose to cycle.
The first landmark visitors encounter in Xi’an is the ancient City Wall, which stretches around the old city. It is also one of the most famous attractions in Xi’an. Today, this wall represents one of the oldest and best-preserved Chinese city walls, as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Muslim Quarter - Your last stop will be the Muslim Bazaar, the city’s most thriving area. If interested, you can explore the bazaar at your own pace and then return to the hotel by yourself. The guide will provide directions for returning to your hotel. The Great Mosque and the Bell and Drum Tower Square are within walking distance of the Bazaar. There are many boutique stores at fair prices in the Bazaar, along with numerous excellent dining options for dinner.
Xi’an - At the end, you will be driven back to your Xi’an hotel.

Xi’an - In the morning, your tour guide will meet you at your Xi’an hotel lobby at 8:30 AM, then transfer you to Hanyanglin, requiring a 30-minute drive, 15 km.
Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling) - First, drive for one hour to visit the Hanyangling Mausoleum, located on the site of the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi, built in 153 AD. With the guide, you will have a close look at the thousand-year-old tombs through the glass floors and walls in the tomb pits. Additionally, the advanced Spectra Vision program will recreate the real life of the Western Han Dynasty about 2,000 years ago. You will have two hours to explore the site.
Shaanxi History Museum - After lunch, continue the Xi’an tour to explore the Shaanxi History Museum. The unique historical and cultural heritage of Shaanxi is undoubtedly worth the praise as a treasure house of Chinese civilization, and the Shaanxi History Museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. There are approximately 370,000 antiquities collected, ranging from prehistoric relics to those of the 1840s. Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, you will have a photo stop here for half an hour. Based on suggestions from previous guests, it is sufficient to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty, was once the site for Xuanzang to translate the Buddhist sutras.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At Tiananmen Square, you can take great photos of the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao.
Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing City. Over the past hundreds of years, it has witnessed numerous historical events and assemblies. Nowadays, it serves as a venue for grand celebrations, military parades, and welcoming ceremonies for foreign leaders. Additionally, visitors can admire the towering Monument to People’s Heroes and the solemn Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the square. Traditional Tiananmen Tower, Zhengyang Gate, and Qianmen Arrow Tower can also be found there.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Then, you will be led to cross the Tiananmen Tower to visit the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911) lived and managed national affairs.
Served as the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved old wooden complex in the world. The entire palace is divided into the Inner Court and Outer Court by the Palace of Heavenly Purity, with the outer one for emperors to handle affairs and the inner one as the living place for the imperial family. The complex is also a giant museum with more than one million national treasures exhibited there.
Mutianyu Great Wall - Upon arrival at the scenic area’s parking lot, you will first take an electric car to the entry, then take the chairlift up to the 14th watchtower. Enjoy a leisurely hike on the wall for about 2 hours, and at the end, take the toboggan down.
The Great Wall at Mutianyu was built and restored in the early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) and is one of the most famous sections of the Wall. Mutianyu enjoys the great reputation of “Out of all the Great Walls, Mutianyu stands apart.” Roam the ancient structure and learn the history and facts that make it so famous. Temple of Heaven - You will first visit the Temple of Heaven. It is the largest royal ceremonial building group in China. Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, continue your visit to Beijing Hutong. There, you will take a rickshaw to go through the old alleys and visit a Hutong family to see how the old Beijingers live. There are many popular restaurants, cafes, and local food stores in the area, so you may have lunch there. It should be a good chance to taste the local food. The guide will offer suggestions. After lunch, you can stroll around Houhai Lake and explore more of the Hutong area.
Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After the Hutong visit, you will be driven to the Lama Temple, regarded as the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing. Opened to tourists in 1981, hundreds of thousands of people come here for praying and visiting every year.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - A 30-minute drive will take you to the Summer Palace, reputed as the museum of ancient royal gardens. The expert guide will show you around. The entire garden mainly consists of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. The Long Corridor, 728 meters (796.2 yards) in length, boasts the longest corridor in Chinese gardens.
