Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - At the Exhibition Hall, you can explore various textual and graphic files and architectural models, providing a comprehensive understanding of Shanghai’s development. The Hall highlights the city’s urbanization and modernization, offering insights into Shanghai’s past and present through city miniatures and extensive planning materials. High-tech methods are used to project Shanghai’s blueprint through 2020.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the picturesque Yu Garden. Situated in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its clever layout and intricate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (a beautiful jade stone), and an artificial hill are among the three most renowned peaks in Southern China.
Yuyuan Old Street - Then, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, near the Old City God Temple. The area features many traditional Chinese buildings now serving as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, head to the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic city views. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second highest observation deck in China, surpassing the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Following that, visit the Bund area, a quintessential part of Shanghai. Located on the Huangpu River bank, visitors come for the charming riverside scenery and the unique Western and Gothic architecture. Free time will be provided to explore the Bund and take photos.

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Known nationwide, Zhujiajiao water town boasts a history of over 1,700 years. Spanning 47 square kilometers (11,614 acres), this fan-shaped town, often called Shanghai’s Venice, shines like a pearl amidst lakes and mountains. Key attractions include Kezhi Garden, Qing Dynasty Post Office, and Fangsheng Bridge, all of which your guide will show you.
Jade Buddha Temple - After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple. Established in 1882 for two white jade Buddha statues from Burma, it is a renowned Buddhist shrine and active Zen monastery. The temple plays a significant role in promoting Buddhism through cultural activities, including lectures, library services, academic publications, and regular cultural events.
Tianzifang - Later, conclude the day at Tianzifang, a cultural block featuring distinctive Shikumen buildings with art studios, themed cafés and bars, and handicraft workshops.
Shanghai - At the end, your guide will escort you back to your hotel.

Chongqing Chaotianmen - The cruise is set to arrive in Chongqing around 07:30 to 08:00, marking the end of your ship journey. Your guide will meet you on board and transfer you to Chongqing Wulong Karst, a 3-hour drive.
Wulong Karst Geological Park - Wulong, known for its unique karst landforms, features stunning stone bridges, caves, pits, eroded sinkholes, and gorges. Wulong gained international fame from Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” showcasing the majestic beauty of the Three Natural Bridges. Other natural attractions include Furong Cave, Longshuixia Gap, and Fairy Mountain.
Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges - After a hearty lunch at a local restaurant, your Chongqing Wulong karst tour begins with the Three Natural Bridges, a key feature of this world heritage area. These three giant stone arch bridges, exquisitely sculpted by nature, are unique worldwide. Within the serene scenic area, you can appreciate the rugged beauty of the mountain bridges and gorges by walking along the narrow valley path.
During the 2 - 2.5 hours visit, you will also stop by an ancient staging post near Qinglong Bridge, built during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) for official business and guest reception. The wooden-structured courtyards remain well-preserved, with over 20 rooms intact.

Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - Upon arrival in Xi’an, you will be promptly picked up and transferred to the Terracotta Army, a 60-minute drive.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Your guide will reserve tickets online in advance, allowing you to skip the line at the Museum entrance. Following your guide, you will explore the Terracotta Warriors Museum, visiting the three excavated pits and the Bronze Chariots and Horses Exhibition Hall. Despite being buried for over 2,200 years, the clay warriors and horses remain vivid with distinct features. You will spend at least two and a half hours at this remarkable site.

The unique historical and cultural heritage of Shaanxi is undoubtedly praiseworthy as a treasure house of Chinese civilization, and the museum is a palace of art displaying Shaanxi’s history and culture and China’s ancient civilization. The museum houses approximately 370,000 antiquities, ranging from prehistoric relics to those from the 1840s. The collection spans over a million years and is superior in value, quantity, rank, and species. Your guide will provide professional explanations.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Instead of entering the temple to visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, you will have a photo stop here for half an hour. Based on suggestions from previous guests, this is sufficient to see the pagoda and the statue of Monk Xuanzang at the south square outside the temple. As a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists, the pagoda, built during the Tang Dynasty, was once the site for Xuanzang to translate Buddhist sutras.
Xi’an Xianyang International Airport - At the end, your guide will escort you to Xi’an airport for your flight to Beijing, with a possible booking on MF7198 19:00–21:30. The flight takes around 2.5 hours.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At Tiananmen Square, you can capture great photos of the Tiananmen Tower, Monument to People’s Heroes, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao. Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing City. Over the past centuries, it has witnessed numerous historical events and assemblies. Today, it hosts grand celebrations, military parades, and welcoming ceremonies for foreign leaders. Visitors can admire the towering Monument to People’s Heroes and the solemn Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao on the square. Traditional Tiananmen Tower, Zhengyang Gate, and Qianmen Arrow Tower are also present.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Then, you will cross the Tiananmen Tower to visit the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911) lived and managed national affairs. Temple of Heaven - You will first visit the Temple of Heaven, the largest royal ceremonial building group in China. Emperors in the past held annual sacrificial activities here to worship heaven and pray for a good harvest. Now, it has become a large park where you can see locals exercising and engaging in recreational activities.
Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, continue your visit to Beijing Hutong. There, you will take a rickshaw through the old alleys and visit a Hutong family to see how old Beijingers live. The area features many popular restaurants, cafes, and local food stores, offering a great opportunity to taste local cuisine. Your guide will provide suggestions. After lunch, you can stroll around Houhai Lake and explore more of the Hutong area.
Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After visiting the Hutong, you will be driven to the Lama Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing. It combines various architectural styles from different groups, including Han, Manchu, Mongol, and Tibet. Opened to tourists in 1981, hundreds of thousands visit annually for prayer and sightseeing.
Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - A 30-minute drive will take you to the Summer Palace, known as the museum of ancient royal gardens. Our expert guide will show you around. The garden mainly consists of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake. The Long Corridor, 728 meters (796.2 yards) long, is the longest corridor in Chinese gardens. It begins at the Yaoyue (Inviting-Moon) Gate and ends at Shizhang Pavilion, ingeniously linking Longevity Hill with Kunming Lake. You can admire the exquisite murals and enjoy melodious music while walking along.
