Shanghai City Highlights (L)

Xintiandi - The final stop is the vibrant nightlife district of Xintiandi. As a bridge between the past and the future, and China and the world, Shanghai Xintiandi’s Shikumen attraction was created by transforming residential blocks into a multifunctional dining, retail, and entertainment center with international-standard restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and bars. Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - The tour guide and driver will pick up guests in the lobby of the Beijing hotel, heading directly to Tian’anmen Square.
Tian’anmen Square is the world’s largest public square, home to the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong, and the Monument to the Peoples’ Heroes. Follow the guide, stroll along the square, and learn about the histories and stories behind it.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From there, pass through the South gate to the magnificent Forbidden City, a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions, and gardens, which served as the imperial palace for emperors and their households for over 500 years. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, the Forbidden City houses ancient treasures from thousands of years of history. Admire the maze of palaces, gardens, and stunning courtyards as the guide shares their histories and stories.
Niaochao National Stadium - Drive past the Olympic park, and let the guide know if there’s a desire to stop for photos.
Mutianyu Great Wall - Afterward, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, then relax on the 1.5-hour drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. This section is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than the more famous Badaling section. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered with trees and orchards.
Follow the guide to hike up and down different towers, and enjoy the convenience of a cable car round trip or a toboggan ride at the wall.

Xi’an City Highlights-Guilin (B, L )
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Meet the tour guide in the lobby of the Xi’an hotel, board a private air-conditioned vehicle, and head directly to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. The guide will explain the related histories and stories along the way, and questions are welcome.
Start with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors Museum, known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” The museum is divided into three sections: No.1 Pit, No.2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit. The original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974 and has since become Xi’an’s most important attraction. Stroll around the museum and gain rich information from the guide.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, perhaps head to the 600-year-old Xi’an City Wall. Reach the top of the centuries-old city wall and admire views of the city below.
Muslim Quarter - Afterwards, head to the Muslim Quarter, the hub of the Muslim community in Xi’an City. Follow the guide to stroll around the Muslim food and souvenir market. Try delicious local snacks if desired, at own cost.

Guilin-Li River Cruise-City Highlights(B,L)
Li River - The private English-speaking guide and driver will pick up guests from the hotel’s lobby at 8:00 am and transfer to Zhujiang Pier, where the boat cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo County begins. The Li River Cruise is considered the highlight of any visit to Guilin.
Gui Lin Zhujiang Pier - Along the river, enjoy breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water, and picturesque pastoral countryside scenery. The river generally has three sections, with various attractions like peaks and villages along the river having interesting descriptive names, sparking imagination. Listening to the guide’s legendary stories about the attractions is a delightful experience while appreciating the landscapes. Most stories are mystical fairy tales and love stories. The cruise usually takes around 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on water conditions.
Xingping Fishing Village - The Li River takes a big turn at Xingping, endowed with beautiful and poetic scenery. It has been reproduced in many Chinese landscape paintings. Even the newly-issued 20 RMB note features the scenery on its back. A photographer once said: ‘Shots from any perspective of this place turn out to be impressive and stunning’.

Shili Hualang - In the afternoon, choose to spend a few hours in Yangshuo exploring the Ten-Mile Gallery, then head to Guilin airport for the flight to Shanghai.
Strolling down a country road feels like traveling in a painting. This is true of the Ten-Mile Gallery in Yangshuo County, a fairyland on earth. As the name implies, Ten-Mile Gallery is a picturesque road stretching from the Yangshuo town area to Moon Hill, endowed with rolling hills, endless fields, idyllic villages, and clear rivers on both sides.
Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan) - Alternatively, head back to Guilin and visit the city’s most famous attraction, Elephant Trunk Hill.
Elephant Trunk Hill is the landmark of Guilin and has been a famous tourist destination since the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907). The hill resembles a giant elephant drinking water from the river.
Enjoy a vigorous walk to the top, visit the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644) Puxian Tower, built to worship Samantabhadra. Learn its history from the guide, then enjoy panoramic views of the city, Li River, and surrounding scenery.
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Alternatively, head back to Guilin and visit the Reed Flute Cave. Over millions of years, dripping water has eroded the cave to create a special world of various stalactites, stone pillars, and rock formations. Explore important spots in the attraction such as Tower-shaped Pine and Crystal Palace. Despite the fantastic natural scenery inside Reed Flute Cave, there are many writings on the wall, including 77 travelogues and poems from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
