Beijing - Upon arrival at Beijing airport, a local tour guide and driver will greet guests at the airport exit and transport them to the renowned Mutianyu Great Wall.
Mutianyu Great Wall - This section of the Great Wall is the best preserved and most picturesque near Beijing, and it is less crowded than other sections. The breathtaking views vary with the seasons, and a round-trip cable car ride on the Great Wall is included.
Nanluoguxiang - After visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall, the tour continues to the downtown area of Beijing, specifically to Nanluoguxiang Hutong. Beijing boasts a history of over 2,600 years, with many ancient alleys. Nanluoguxiang Hutong is the oldest and most famous alley in Beijing, dating back to the Yuan dynasty 700 years ago. Walking through Nanluoguxiang Hutong offers a glimpse into local life and Beijing’s rich history.

Beijing
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - In the morning, the tour visits Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world, known for its historical significance. The Chairman Mao Memorial Museum and China Congress Building are located here. Tiananmen Square was once part of the Forbidden City during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and became a square in 1949 after the revolution.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Entering through the Tiananmen Gate, guests will explore the Forbidden City, constructed 600 years ago at the start of the Ming Dynasty. It served as the palace for the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with over 8,400 rooms, making it the largest palace in the world. The front area features three Grand Halls for the emperor’s work, while the back area houses the residential quarters for the emperor and concubines. The tour follows the axis line from the south gate to the north gate. Lunch will be at a local restaurant known for traditional Beijing hot pot.
Please note that the Forbidden City is closed every Monday. On those days, the tour will visit the Summer Palace or Lama Temple instead.
Temple of Heaven - After lunch, the tour proceeds to another UNESCO World Heritage site, the Temple of Heaven. This site was where ancient Chinese emperors prayed for a good harvest. Its architectural design is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese culture. The surrounding park is a popular spot for locals to practice Tai Chi, dance, and sing Peking Opera.
After visiting the Temple of Heaven, guests will be driven back to their hotel.
