Shanghai - Huangshan (D)

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station - Guests will be picked up at 7:00 am from their hotel in Shanghai city to catch the 8:05 am bullet train to Huangshan, which takes approximately 3.5 hours.

Huangshan China Gechuanjian Mountain - Upon arrival, a local guide will meet guests in the arrival hall and transport them directly to Huangshan by private car, a journey of about 1 hour.

The exciting Huangshan adventure begins with a ride on the Yungu cable car (included). The 10-minute journey offers breathtaking views. Upon reaching the peak, guests will walk for about 30 minutes to the hotel, passing by Black Tiger Pine and Dream Flower Pine. They will then ascend to ‘Beginning-to-Believe’ Peak and explore Mushroom Pavilion, followed by a sunset view at Cloud-dispelling Pavilion.

A delightful mountain dinner awaits guests upon their return to the hotel. Afterward, they can rest and recharge for the early morning sunrise.

Huangshan - Hong Village - Shanghai (B, L)

Huangshan China Gechuanjian Mountain - Rise at dawn to witness the sunrise before enjoying breakfast. Refreshing Terrace is a recommended viewing spot. Guests can then explore more of Mt Huangshan’s wonders, including Lion Peak, Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and various pine formations along the path. For hiking enthusiasts, the West Sea Grand Canyon offers an exhilarating route in the Huangshan area.

Hongcun Ancient Village - After a long hike, guests will enjoy lunch and explore Hong Village in the late afternoon.

Hongcun Village is a picturesque ancient village with over 800 years of history, featuring original Hui-style architecture. Guests will have free time to explore Hong Village, purchase local handicrafts and souvenirs, and savor local cuisine for dinner.

Huangshan is also renowned for its film locations, including scenes from “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” Guests will have the opportunity to see the bamboo sea and other recognizable sites from such films.

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station - Finally, the local guide will escort guests to the Huangshan station for the bullet train back to Shanghai. The train departs at 16:30 from Huangshan and arrives at Hongqiao station at 19:00. Upon arrival in Shanghai, a driver will be waiting in the arrival hall to take guests back to their hotel.
