- Shanghai Tower - Your professional guide will greet you with your name sign at the Arrival Hall of Airport (PVG or SHA) or Shanghai/Wusongkou cruise terminal port and you will be transferred by the private vehicle to center city (about 40 to 60 minutes). Typically, you will visit Lujiazui financial center first, see the amazing city landmarks such as pearl TV Tower, shanghai tower and world financial center. Marvel at the stunning view of skyscrapers and learn about China opening policy in the 1990th from your guide.
- Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Visit Yuyuan garden, a very ancient and well-preserved garden with the history of 400 years old where to see the stylish Chinese pavilion and authentic old architecture. (Yuyuan garden close at 4:15pm and every Monday, in this case, you will visit yuyuan bazaar instead, which is the old Ming and Qing dynasty architecture market with various of souvenir shops and restaurants).
- Former French Concession - Head to French concession, the old center of colonial life. See the impressive French style architecture, learn the history of Shanghai during 1840th and take a nice stroll along the walkways with lush trees.
- The Bund (Wai Tan) - Continue your visit to the famous Bund, admire the splendid views of old and new Shanghai. Take a stunning shot of the city skyline on the bund.
- Jade Buddha Temple - If your layover time is long enough, choose to Jade buddha temple. Take a stroll at the beautiful old temple with multiple chambers and impressive buddha statues. See the local worshipers and learn the fascinating religion culture from your guide (Jade buddha temple close at 4:30pm).
Based on your interests, you can choose other attractions besides the sample itinerary, such as Tianzifang (old alleyways with small shops), Shanghai Museum(ancient bronze ,furniture and paintings), Shanghai tower (2nd tallest building in the world), Maglev train (fastest train in the world, can take back to airport).
Your private layover tour ends with return transport to the airport (PVG or SHA), cruise terminal or drop-off at your Shanghai city hotel.

Kindly note:
• This stopover tour necessitates a minimum of 8 to 10 hours gap between two connecting flights.
• The tour must commence no later than 6:30PM
• If you prefer to be picked up from your hotel, please inform your desired tour commencement time at the time of booking
• If you opt to be picked/dropped from/to your hotel, please select the One Way Airport Transfer tour option

Very authentic stress free relaxed tour of Shanghai - Being new to China and a bit hesitant to navigate on our own with the language barrier we wanted a day trip that we felt safe but still got to experience all the wonders of Shanghai. We were picked up at our hotel at Disneyland and dropped off at the Airport hotel which made the transition incredibly easy. We found this tour included the hotel and airport pickup and drop off as well as being tailor made to our needs including the best sights around Shanghai. The driver Mr Chi was excellent and the car was very luxurious and included water.
We met with guide Xin who was very experienced and a local so knew some of the out of the way places to visit. She also was able to tell us about the places and history in a factual and fun way. Her English was excellent so there was always open communication. She also knew the best photo spots and it was lovely getting photos of both of us. We found some amazing souvenirs and experienced a more authentic side of the city plus enjoyed lunch at a Michelin star restaurant which was excellent. Overall we could not have asked for anything else. We had a special request to visit the Disney store which they were happy to include.
We would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour of Shanghai - Absolutely fantastic tour of Shanghai! Especially the wonderful guide Xin brings heart and soul to the experience! I fell in love with Shanghai thanks to her: Xin is very caring and kind, and knows all the most amazing spots for pictures, food and souvenirs! The driver and the manager did a great job too! Super well organized tour, very caring and kind people! I would love to come back for more!

Excellent 1 day discovery of the City, tailor made ! - We were on a 20+ hours transit and booked a private trip with Snow, our guide. Although we were tired from our first flight we enjoyed the program made up and the flexibility of our guide. Kids including our teenagers loved it !

Tailored and brilliant - Just excellent and tailored to my circumstances. I had a very tight lay over in Shanghai, arriving at 6 am as well; but wanted to see some of Shanghai if possible. I made an enquiry and Alana was excellent with her communication, what was realistic within the time frame and the instructions were very clear on how I would connect with the guide Caroline and the driver. Caroline was brilliant and very welcoming and energetic for that time of the morning and extremely knowledgeable. Special shout out to the driver as well; super efficient at various stops where he would just appear and returned me to the airport early. Thank you very much team for allowing me to do this.

Great tour, excellent communication - Great communication from Alana on where to meet our driver (she even sent a photo with the location circled in pen). Our driver arrived promptly and his car was immaculate.
We weren’t able shown around Shanghai by Kalvin. He was a font of knowledge and adapted the tour as we went.
We are already talking about booking another tour (hopefully with Kalvin) on our return leg.
We would highly recommend this company 😊

An incredible way to make... - An incredible way to make the most of Shanghai during a layover. They were absolutely brilliant - organized and seamless from pick up to goodbye. Judy and Mr Chi showed us around Shanghai- we particularly enjoyed Judy building and sharing the historical context as we soaked in the sights. We really felt cared for and looked after. We did a lot but also felt that we weren’t forced into anything. We know Shanghai better now and we couldn’t really request for a better team to show us around.

So good we wished we stayed longer - We did a 10-hour layover tour in Shanghai and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Alana organised everything perfectly, and Snow, our guide, was absolutely wonderful — professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout the day.
We managed to see an amazing amount in such a short time without ever feeling rushed. Our driver was excellent, and the van was far more spacious and comfortable than expected, which made a long day feel easy.
One lovely surprise was that our food was included and paid for, which we truly didn’t expect and really appreciated.
What really stood out was the value for money. We paid £87 per person (for three people), and considering everything that was included and how much we saw, it easily felt closer to £100+ per person.
The only downside was wishing we had more time to soak it all in. Bring a spare bag for souvenirs! Ours were already full to the brim so we couldn’t buy much. We would definitely recommend this tour and would happily do it again.

Amazing way to hit the highlights of Shanghai during a long layover - Loved the flexibility to make the tour exactly what we wanted. We had an 8 hr window during a layover at Pudong airport and Caroline was an excellent guide and very accommodating. Shanghai was so much more than we imagined and we are already planning a return trip.

Would highly recommend! ⭐️ - The whole trip was amazing from start to finish. Everything I wanted and more.
I booked and received whatsapp communication from Alana first who was happy to chat and answer any questions I had which made it all super easy.
They took all my flight information and communicated well so I always knew what was ahead which took a great weight off and made sure I saw the very best highlights of Shanghai, tailored to my needs and timings.
Jenny was my local tour guide and was so personable, knowledgeable and friendly. I was happy to be lead by the teams recommendations so we managed to pack a whole lot in the few hours I was there and i always felt safe and looked after.
Mr chi was our personal driver for the day and dropped us to each site at requested and was there in a heart beat when we were done and ready to go onto the next. We managed to see the gardens, the jade temple, the French concession, the bund, had dinner and a little late night shopping.
Would highly recommend if you’re looking to see the city during your layover or on arrival to the country. Seamless and an excellent experience. Shanghai is a gorgeous city and I’m grateful to have booked this tour ☺️

Great tour. Highly recommend - Snow Shanghai Tour was excellent. They did a great job. Before we boarded our plane, they reached out to confirm the details, provided a picture of the csr that would pick us up, provided a chauffeur and a guide that took us around the city.
Excellent experience, great tpura. Absolutely recommend and would definitely use it if and when I am back in Shanghai.
