Excellent experience; very personalized! - We booked the tour on the day-of, and the operator was able to accommodate us for that evening. At first, we were not able to select our hotel, so we contacted the operator, who got back to us very quickly on all the logistics. They allow you to pick what to do first (cruise first or dinner first); otherwise, they would arrange what works best.
The car that picked us up arrived very early, and the vehicle was huge for 3 people (included comfortable chairs with massage options and provided us free water bottles). Our guide Roy (spoke fluent English) met us at the cruise terminal, and the night view was stunning. Having grown up in Shanghai, Roy provided us a lot of local and historical details about the city and its evolution, and he pointed out the different buildings as we passed by. He also recommended us a few eating spots and rooftop bars.
After the cruise, we went to a Shanghainese restaurant and ordered a lot of local dishes. The guide recommended the popular dishes, but ultimately you pick whatever you want. Although we missed the kitchen cutoff time for dessert, Roy then ordered us bubble/fruit tea that was right inside the mall location we were in.
Overall, the experience felt so nice! Seamless and well worth it!

A must do - A fantastic experience from start to finish. Sunny was on the ball and added a personal touch. Our guide, Roy was knowledgeable and pleasant and was fluent in English. The cruise was a little crowded but the scenery and sites were amazing and since we did this in the night, the lights and energy were very vibrant and beautiful. The dinner too was great. An authentic Shanghai dinner with every meat you could ask for, on the menu. Very tasty and a clean and lovely place. The bar too was nice and the view from the rooftop was breathtaking. All in all, I can highly recommend this tour.

All was amazing!!! - I really enjoy this tour, all was great, i highly recommend it, the food was chinese and it was amazing!! The best food i tried in all china, the view of the cruise was incredible, all the lights at night around the river were stunning, and the bar view was stunning too, you can see all the city with the lights from the hight, and it was very nice, nice atmosphere and music, and finally my tourist guide shirley was so great, she speak very good english and she is very patient and nice, she took me many pictures, she was very patient for that too, and she is so friendly, she give you all the information you need about all the place in the tour, i really dont have any complaint about this tour, i really had a god time and enjoy it a lot!!

Best tour guide - Calvin was so knowledgeable about modern and history subjects. All of our questions were answered and we had a nice time. He took us to a traditional Shanghainese restaurant and it was easily some of the best food we’ve ever eaten

Whole package - We had a wonderful experience starting with our guide Shirley. She was on time, met us with a smile and genuinely lovely. Very informative explaining the area and history to buildings very detailed and spoke English extremely well. We had great tour with cruise, dinner and bar experience. Shirley helped us with dinner selections and recommended items for us to try. Private car was fantastic with no trouble with pick up and drop off. Definitely recommend this tour.

Knowledgeable local born-and-bred Shanghainess guide and driver for dinner + River Cruise - We had a great time with Kalvin, a warm, friendly and knowledgeable 100% local born and bred Shanghainese guide equally fluent in both English and Mandarin. Kalvin was very hospitable and took great care of us (family of 3 - including child and pregnant wife), and provided expert commentary and insights on Shanghai, including its history, the culture, significant landmarks and all of its milestones and heritage. The Shanghainese food dinner was good (part of package) and the Huangpu river cruise had a VIP option for 50 Yuan per person which was well worth it. I would rate 10 stars out of 5 stars if I could - highly highly recommended.

A lovely night out - highly recommend ! - We loved this experience - our tour guide Shirley was very knowledgeable of all the buildings along the Bund and the history of Shanghai. Shirley went out of her way to make sure we had a good time and we had a lovely dinner together at the conclusion of the cruise. We were looked after the entire time, and the driver was also friendly and accommodating.

Great night to get to know Shanghai - We had a great experience with both organising the tour with Sunny and with Kalvin our guide. He was very friendly and knowlegable, we had a nice meal and learnt all about Shanghai and its people. The views on the cruise are amazing and the drink at the bar overlooking the river was a perfect end to the night. Would highly reccomend this tour!
