Excellent Zhujiajiao Water Town Trip - We had Kelvin as our guide he was excellent and very knowledgeable, spoke very good English and knew a lot about Chinese history and cultures . He took us to Mr Ma’s house which had beautiful gardens. We had an enjoyable ride down the canal where he pointed out lots of interesting features and facts and took pictures of us on the boat and bridges for us to have some beautiful memories. He also took us to a small family owned restaurant where the food was from farm to table which was very enjoyable. He also told us a lot of information about Shanghai’s skyscrapers, living conditions and their general way of life. He went out of his to help us with getting a particular souvenir that we wanted. The driver was excellent and the car was very comfortable a truly enjoyable trip from start to finish

Great your to Zhujiajiao Water Town - We booked the Zhujiajiao Water Town and Boat Ride (including lunch), and couldn’t be happier with this tour! Our tour guide, Caroline, was so friendly and informative! Prior to the tour date, Alana, from Amazing Shanghai Trip, reached out to confirm the date and time, but suggested we might want to leave an hour earlier to avoid potential traffic, as our tour coincided with the tail-end of Golden Week. All went smoothly. Caroline was so flexible tailoring the day’s activities to our interests. She was also extremely helpful with suggestions for the rest of our time in Shanghai, which we really appreciated. The itinerary was perfect for us, and just what we wanted. I highly recommend this tour company, and this itinerary. Thank you Alana and Caroline!

Perfect experience! - We had Queena as our tour guide and she was wonderful!! She had lots of energy and was very efficient in showing us all the beautiful sites of Furong. She knew a lot of history and provided detailed cultureal information. She also knew all the best spots for photos and was very enthusiastic in helping us memorialize our experience. The tour included access to the garden and the Buddhist and Taoist temples as well as a boat ride down the rivers and a free coffee drink from a trendy cafe. We felt like we really got to see all the crucial and coolest spots in the village and came away having learned a lot. The van pick up service was also wonderful. A very spacious and comfortable car. All in all, it is a no brainer to book this guided trip.

Ancient Water Town Delight - Extremely informative with beautiful sights and historic venues. Guide Judy was so friendly and accommodating, providing wonderful information to all our questions. Driver was superb and got us everywhere safely and efficiently. Gardens and temples were gorgeous and the lunch with local farm to table food was tasty and filling. We just wish we could have eaten more as it all was good. We would highly recommend this tour.

Very nice experience - totally worth it - would recommend! - We had a very nice day with our guide Jenny. Our guide and driver met us at our hotel lobby both very friendly people. We started out with Kezhi Garden which was beautiful and learned interesting new information about the buildings, etc. Had a nice ride in the boat with beautiful views and great opportunities to take photos. Walked along the streets, peeked into some local shops, learned some new facts about some of them, visited Yuanjin Buddhist Temple. And since we booked the tour with the meal option we went to a restaurant with a great view and our guide recommended very good dishes which my friends thought of the best we had since we arrived in Shanghai. The fees were all taken care of from our guide. Overall I'd recommend this tour to my friends and family should they ever visit Shanghai. Had a memorable day we won't forget so fast. Thank your for the nice experience.

Well worth the journey! - Zhujiajiao is not a place to be missed on your Shanghai journey. Our tour guide Judy was informative and accomodating. It’s around 1-1/2 hours drive from The Bund, depending on traffic and the driver made our journey there and back comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. A beautiful ancient town. A different side to Shanghai city.

Worth the drive. Our... - Worth the drive. Our guide kiwi picked us up from our cruise ship for a private tour. The ride to the canals was about an hour and a half which gave her an opportunity to tell us about Shanghai history. We toured gardens, had a boat ride in the canal and tried a couple of Chinese tasties. She brought personal fans which were handy because it was a warm day.
