After enjoying a picnic lunch in Manyara, embark on an early afternoon game drive, which is the optimal time for wildlife viewing in this park. Approaching from the East, the Rift Valley escarpment creates a stunning backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the groundwater forest, monkeys can be seen leaping from branch to branch, while elephants find shade under the baobab trees on the escarpment. Commonly sighted animals include zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and more.

Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite or lodge, based on guest preferences.

Half-Day Game Drive in the Ngorongoro Crater

Mount Kilimanjaro - Delight in a half-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. This is the premier location in Tanzania to observe black rhinos, elephants, hippos, buffalo, and prides of lions, including the impressive black-maned males. The area is also home to numerous colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other wildlife you might encounter includes leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, along with various antelope species and small mammals. Lunch will be served at the picnic center within the crater.

In the late afternoon, return to your accommodation in Moshi.
