Incredible Experience - An incredible day start to finish!! Such an experience, made even better by our guide Syed. He was not only friendly, but so knowledgable and helpful, we couldn't have asked for anyone better to guide us. Seeing Cairo, the Nile and the Pyramids cannot be put into words, its truly special and Im so glad we booked it whilst staying in Sharm El Sheikh, which makes it a long coach journey but worth it. Please do this excursion, you won't regret it.

Excellent trip - do it! - I had a wonderful day. The guide sayed was just brilliant, excellent English and excellent knowledge. He was fun and engaged all day. Great company in our group as well. And the museum , extra trip on the lunch and pyramids were wonderful. Thank you for a great experience. Dont be put off by some reviews about the journey. We had a small bus collect from the hotel (although was 20 mins earlier than expected) taken to meet some bigger buses and directed onto the correct buses by booking. Yes it’s a long journey but very worth it!

Lovely despite the horrible journey there - The journey there is awful and the people in charge of transporting you to Cairo are awful. Be ready to suffer on the coach there but the guide Sayid was amazing and took care of us a lot! Sayid was an exceptional guide and recommended all the right things

Good trip , Bad travelling , Scary Pick Up - The trip itself was good; however, the pick-up and the bus ride were terrible. We could more or less tolerate the bus ride (in December you should definitely bring some warm clothes, because we almost froze wearing just sweaters), but the pick-up was awful. The whole time I was afraid they wouldn’t come for us. I had read comments from people they never picked up and who couldn’t reach anyone. We went down 20 minutes earlier than the agreed time (I had sent the exact GPS coordinates the day before showing exactly where we would be waiting), but the driver didn’t show up. Eventually, I managed to reach someone who said the driver had been there but didn’t see us, so he left. After that, we waited another hour past the scheduled time until, thank God, the driver finally arrived. The tour guide was friendly, but we had the feeling that he just wanted to get it over with so he could go home. We were right — we arrived back about one hour earlier than the others. However, seeing the pyramids was an amazing experience, and the papyrus shop, lunch, and the museum were all good. Overall, it’s worth it, but there are some negative aspects you need to be prepared for. The scariest part is the pick-up — once you get through that, you’ve already passed the hardest part. Have a good trip.

Late departure to Cairo and late arrival back to Sharm, with multiple unnecessary and long stops in between - Late departure to Cairo and late arrival back to Sharm, with multiple unnecessary and long stops in between. The tour company is really money grubbing and unethical - throughout the trip you would be pressured into paying for things you won't need, then treated badly for refusing, and tour guides pressure you for tips. Avoid and find a better tour company.

FROM SHARM AVOID! THE DAY TRIP!Better organize yourself if you are practical or do only Cairo, or at least spend 3 - I state two things: 1 Cairo and GEM are beautiful places to see absolutely 2-25 years ago I made the same trip with local buses so I know what I'm talking about. The 100 euro package is convenient if you do not want to bang to organize, having said that, left the hotel at 2315 even solicited even if the appointment was at 2315 , you recover 3/4 buses of people from the various hotels, morale you leave Sharm at 2 am with buses crammed with people, after various document checks you get to Cairo, the times are tight and to make us stay the tour to the shops of perfumes and papyri , the museum is all in a hurry, lunch in a kind of Egyptian soup kitchen where several buses arrived, quarrels and screams everywhere food from the soup kitchen, dirty everywhere, I return in the next night destroyed and not satisfied.boat ride on the Nile at 10 euros... but ok you are there...

Avoid - This trip was chaotic from start to finish. Trip from Cairo made 6 stops. Not to pick up people but at restaurants. Toilet on bus was disgusting. Pickup drivers had no ID and did not have our names. Cairo was worth the visit. As other reviews noted, bus trip was terrible. 9 hours from Cairo to Sharm! Should only be 5.
