• Mansfield Monument - The tour then leads to a monument dedicated to Major General Joseph Mansfield. As the battle commences, Mansfield leaves his inexperienced battalion to scout the cornfield and assess the situation. Upon his return, he is slumped over his horse, having sustained a fatal chest wound. His soldiers, already unnerved by the combat, are shocked. How can they hope to survive without their leader?
• West Woods Trail - The next stop is the West Woods. At this point, the Union has gained a significant advantage, but the battle is far from concluded. 5,000 Union soldiers charge into this forest, aiming to replicate the easy victory their comrades achieved in the East Woods. However, Confederate cannons are positioned on a nearby ridge. The artillery unleashes a barrage on the Union, transforming a straightforward advance into a desperate struggle for survival.
• Mumma Farm and Cemetery - Continue driving until reaching the Mumma farmstead. As Confederate troops retreat past this location, they set it ablaze to prevent the Union from using it for cover. The Mumma family had already evacuated, but they would later return to find only ashes.
• Irish Brigade Monument - The next destination is the Irish Brigade monument, which honors the Irish Americans who fought at the Bloody Lane. Many of them made the ultimate sacrifice for their country at this site. The significance of this battle and the crucial nature of a Union victory will be discussed.
• Piper Farm - Continue driving until reaching Piper Farm. While the battle rages across the field, Confederate generals use this farm as their headquarters, strategizing each attack and defensive line, seeking a path to victory.
• Burnside Bridge - The tour proceeds to Burnside Bridge, where another intense struggle unfolds. 13,000 Union soldiers attempt to seize the bridge while only 500 Confederates defend it. The Union troops are vulnerable as they try to cross the bridge, with bodies accumulating as the Confederates mount a fierce defense.
• Monument to William McKinley - Antietam - The next stop is the McKinley Monument, which honors the future 25th President of the United States and recounts a tale of his unique heroism following the brutal conflict at the bridge.

• Tolson’s Chapel and School - Another detour takes visitors to Tolson Chapel, constructed by Black Americans just one year after the war concluded.
