Great place! Can't wait to go back. - Great tour by Jodi. Was lovely to see and learn about the residents of the sanctuary. Very informative. They're doing a wonderful job giving wolfdogs a permanent home when they had no where else to go. It was fun meeting Riggs & Takaya. Getting to socialize with the 2 pups, Knox & Ransom was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back.♡

A memorable experience! - We had a great time. Our guide was excellent. Her love of the animals was obvious. We enjoyed hearing anecdotes and histories about the individual wolfdogs. The wolfdogs have excellent enclosures and are well-cared for. The property is beautiful, the paths through are shaded and boisterous ravens are in the trees overhead. At the end we met 2 wolfdogs upclose and had a cute photo op. Our guide was very respectful and responsive to their needs and behaviors. Complimentary beverages were provided and there's a well-stocked giftshop. We will be back!

Don’t miss Roam - This was the highlight of my trip to Washington state. I was in a group of 12 women and Reanna gave us an amazing tour. She actually does the work of feeding, caring for the animals, and maintaining the sanctuary. Reanna shared her personal experiences with each of the wolf dogs and shared so much knowledge about them.

ROAM was a Beautiful Experience!! - My husband took me to the "Roam Wolf Dog Sanctuary" a week before my birthday. In the drive there, I had no idea what this 'special event' was ........... but my heart leaped for joy when we drove up and I saw the sign, "Roam Wolf Dog Sanctuary"!! It was a 'dream-come-true', because I love wolves and wanted to experience them in their habitat. The 90-minute tour was fun and informative; it just made me love and respect the wolves all the more. What beautiful and intelligent creatures they are! And the bonus at the end was the opportunity to take part in the 'socialization' of two young wolf pups. I will never forget this experience ............ and I will surely come back many times to "roam in the spirit of the wolf".

Everyone should visit this beautiful sanctuary - Our private educational experience at Roam was by far the best animal sanctuary visit I’ve ever had. I seek out places like this during my travels, and Roam truly stands out for its mission and execution. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear how deeply passionate the team is—from the owner's enthusiasm to the thoughtful layout and well-maintained habitats. Roam beautifully highlights the importance of sanctuaries like this, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

As close as you will ever get to getting face to face with a majestic creature! - I had no real idea of what we would see, experience and how I would feel at the end of this tour. Let me just say it exceeded any and all expectations I could muster. This is a gorgeous facility tucked back in the woods off of HWY 101 in Shelton. From the moment you drive up through the regal gates to parking in front of the Welcome Center/Gift Shop you are surrounded by serene peaceful calm. We arrived a little early for our 10 AM tour and were greeted by one of the owners beautiful dogs named Boots. This lovely 14 year old girl greeted us with gentle licks and was all about the loves and rubs. As the other guests arrived, Jody, the owner, came to greet us all and welcome us. After some quick paperwork and some do's and don'ts we began our 90 minute tour with our first introduction to two incredibly beautiful wolf dogs. Jody took great care to educate us on all of the wolf dogs they had at the facility, providing background into each animal. The enclosures were spacious and well maintained. Since we are at the beginning of summer and warmer days, the wolf dogs are shedding their thick winter coats. This took nothing away from how beautiful and majestic each of these amazing creatures were. I don't want to spoil anything on the tour as Jody was the perfect host and really took the time to not only educate, but entertain and really speak to the importance of these animals and why they are so special. This is a walking tour on a trail around the enclosures, but rest assured that there are benches for those that may need to sit while meeting the next pairs in their enclosures. The tour truly does finish in the most magical way. If you really ever dreamed of getting even closer to one of these animals....Well.....You will have to book a tour and find out. Bottom line is...If you are an animal lover of any kind...If you love learning and experiencing conservation and care for animals in an amazing way...if you really do want a one of a kind experience you should race to book your tour. I can not reccomend this facility and its owners enough. As an added bonus....look out for the happy to meet you barnyard friends right across from the Welcome Center. You may even get to give them some treats after your tour!

A wonderful experience! - Visiting Roam Wolfdog Sanctuary was a fantastic experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly dedicated to establishing a wonderful home for the wolfdogs. I learned a lot about wolves and enjoyed very much to be introduced to each one and discover his or her unique personality. Hearing Rigg communicating to his sanctuary-mates via an amazing, pro-longed, multi-faceted howl and also hearing their responses was a privilege! Until you actually hear a wolf howl, you can't really appreciate the communicative value.

Great adventure - My Sister and I loved how beautiful the sanctuary was. The wolves look to be well taken care of. Getting to pet one was a great bonus. 10/10 would do it again.
