You’ll gain a better understanding of wolf behavior, their habitat, conservation, and the myths and misconceptions surrounding this great apex predator. This is also an insightful opportunity to learn about the importance of wolves in our ecosystem and why it’s so important to preserve them in our natural environment. You will hear and see how wolfdogs fundamentally differ from that of domestic dogs. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to meet our ambassador wolfdogs, true representatives of their wild counterparts.

As visitors stroll along our forested trails beneath a stunning canopy of trees, they will pause to discover each unique member of our pack. This journey offers a deeper insight into the lives of wild wolves and the responsibilities of having a wolfdog as a pet, all while enjoying the tranquil sounds of nature. The experience concludes with a group howl and a meeting with one of our Ambassadors.

We are located just off the Highway 101 Loop outside of Shelton. Drive up the hill 1/4 mile and we are the first driveway on the left. We will meet you inside the visitor center.

Highly recommend visiting Roam - Me and my family visited Roam last weekend for the first time and we will definitely be coming back. The entire experience was amazing. Reanna is absolutely the best tour guide, she made the entire experience fun and packed with so much knowledge. She answered all of our questions with excitement.
You can see how passionate she is with each wolfdog and the mission behind it. So much thought and care has gone into creating a safe home for these rescues and really giving them a chance at life. You can see how well they are cared for and treated with love.
Oh and you can’t forget the experience of getting to give a wolfdog belly rubs 🖤

Amazing Experience - An absolute must-visit! The level of care these gorgeous animals receive is truly heartening. If you’re an animal lover, visit them and learn about the world of hybrid dogs and support this amazing project!

Wolf dog guided tour with photos and belly scratches! - We took our 15 year old daughter as a birthday treat, not really knowing what to expect and what a fun surprise it was! It was a beautiful tour in a gorgeous conservation park where the animals are beautifully cared for by knowledgeable staff. We learned a lot and saw gorgeous wolves and at the end, got some cuddle time, picture time, and wolf song time with one of their ambassador wolf dogs. My daughter had a fabulous time but so did my husband and I. What a great experience!

Amazing opportunity - Incredible experience to be able to not just walk with wolves, but to interact with them. And there were plenty of opportunities to do just that, plus get pictures with them. It was a unique experience, but also it was coupled with educational bits throughout that gave me an appreciation for the wolves and what they do at Roam to help these animals.

Don't miss this !!!! - Fantastic facility. Memorable visit with guide to educate and if you have the chance the one on one interaction with a selected wolfdog will take your breath away.

Twice in a lifetime! - I'd say once in a lifetime, but this was my second visit and it was every bit as precious and memorable as the first. Jodi and her team have done a great deal of work here to make this sanctuary centered on the wolfdogs. They are clearly thriving here and have developed beautiful bonds with their caregivers. It's absolutely worth the price of admission and I can't wait to go a third time. Thank you Jodi for a unique, thoughtful, and magical afternoon! This is a wonderful outing for a date, family, friends, and out-of-towners.

Amazing privilege to learn about and get close with these magnificent beings! - This was my second visit to Roam (and I’ve sent multiple other folks there too). It’s such a privilege to have the opportunity to learn about and get close to these majestic beings. Jodi and the team are doing amazing work here. Check them out when you get chance - it’s a wonderful experience. I’ll be back again for sure!

Must Do! - This was such a unique experience, and we really enjoyed it. Very informative and we recommend doing this if your schedule allows. Lots of fun and great facilities! the animals are very well cared for and loved. We found this on a list of things to do while staying at a resort nearby and we're so glad!

Great place! Can't wait to go back. - Great tour by Jodi. Was lovely to see and learn about the residents of the sanctuary. Very informative. They're doing a wonderful job giving wolfdogs a permanent home when they had no where else to go. It was fun meeting Riggs & Takaya. Getting to socialize with the 2 pups, Knox & Ransom was absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back.♡
