• Meiji Jingu Shrine - Meiji Shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. When the Tokugawa Shogunate returned power to the Emperor, marking the start of the Meiji era, Japan made significant progress in aligning with other developed nations. The education system was established, railways expanded, and Western-style dining attire became fashionable. Emperor Meiji, who championed these advancements, was beloved by the people, and after his passing, Meiji Shrine was constructed in his honor. Now, 100 years later, it has become a magnificent forest, offering a serene and refreshing atmosphere.

Sensoji Temple is rich in Japanese culture, offering experiences like the unique Japanese omikuji (fortune telling), purification rituals, and more. • Uenokoen - Visit Ueno Park, the site of Kan’ei-ji Temple, which was protected by the Tokugawa Shogunate during the Edo era. Ueno Toshogu Shrine, where the first Tokugawa Shogun, Ieyasu, is enshrined, features beautiful sculptures and gold-plated shrine buildings, reflecting the Shogun’s power.
