- Arakurayama Sengen Park - This park starts at the base of Mt. Arakurayama and stretches up the mountain. At the summit of a 398-step climb, an observation deck provides a panoramic view of Fujiyoshida City’s skyline and the magnificent Mt. Fuji. While the Spring sakura (cherry blossom) season is ideal for photographing the iconic scene of Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and the five-storied pagoda, the park offers a breathtaking view that evolves with the seasons and can be enjoyed year-round.
- Mt. Fuji 5th Station - Located 2300 meters above sea level, the fifth station of Mount Fuji is situated halfway up the mountain. The Fuji Subaru Line (Yoshidaguchi) 5th Station is the most frequented among Mount Fuji’s 5th Stations. It provides an excellent vantage point to view the mountain’s summit, and visitors can enjoy numerous gift shops and restaurants.
- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai is a popular tourist destination featuring eight ponds in Oshino, a quaint village in the Fuji Five Lake region, nestled between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako. These ponds are located on the site of a former sixth lake that dried up several centuries ago. The ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji’s slopes, which filters through porous lava layers for over 80 years, resulting in exceptionally clear spring water that is highly valued by the locals.
