Allen rules! - Our leader Allen was 10/10. We got to see all the super awesome spots with more than enough time to explore. He was very clear about the time we had, where to go and what to expect. He communicated efficiently and clearly so we knew what the deal was at each moment during the day. The description should be updated to needs at least 3,000 yen cash to pay for some sites and food. We got lucky that the 2nd bus stop had an ATM

Awesome tour of Kamakura + Enoshima! - We had a wonderful time on this tour! Alex was our guide and he was great. Super knowledgeable about our tour locations and he shared interesting stories about the history and culture of each. He ensured everything ran smoothly so we got to each place in a timely manner, including back to Tokyo at the end. We especially enjoyed exploring Enoshima Island, which has beautiful shrines nestled throughout the mountain. Would absolutely recommend this tour. Thanks again to Alex for a great experience!

Day trip to Kamakura - It was one of the best day trips I had on my visit to Japan this year. Usually I like to plan my own trips over there. But decided to book a trip with a guide this time as well. And I was glad I did. Our guide Alex was really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He had good english and told us a lot of interesting facts about places where we were going and about Japan in general. Some of the information I heard for the first time. And I appreciated his efforts to make our trip a pleasant one in spite of the rainy weather. Alex gave us a lot of useful and practical advises about areas in Tokyo as well. I highly recommend Alex as a guide and this trip particularly.

Must-see Buddha - Allan Tan was a very good guide. He organized the tour very well even though we were many people. It's a very nice excursion. In our case we were very unlucky in time as a Chinese typhoon was coming and it was raining half the excursion

Great way to learn about... - Great way to learn about temples and religion in Japan. Rather than just going, our tour guide Allan educated us

Nakamura - The train journey was stressful and I don't add anything interesting. It should be eliminated and more time given in Enoshima.

Not recommended - Disappointing experience with tour guide "Ko". We did the Kamakura day tour, pick up time 8.30am. "Ko" phoned us at 8.28am scolding us and saying they will not be waiting for us. We tried to explain that we were at the meeting place but couldn't find him (there were several other guides from the same tour company holding up signs) and people standing around for different tours. We tried to ask for help but the other guides couldn't help us. We finally found our guide "Ko" at 8.30 and he again scolded us saying we are late and they won't wait around for us next time. Such a stressful time and bad customer service. When you are working in the tourism industry you should be more helpful and friendly especially when you are dealing with foreigners who are finding their way in a new country. Your job is to guide foreigners and help them have an enjoyable holiday. We also found it hard to understand Ko when he was talking during the tour. We expected a decent day out but instead we found the whole experience to be stressful and rushed.

Kamakura tour - Check in was chaotic and disorganized.. Tour bus was old and poorly maintained, curtains were stained and dirty. we’ve signed up for English speaking tour guide, but entire tour was spoken in Chinese and poorly understandable English. Lots of time wasted during tour waiting around for others who did not follow schedule. I’ve been to other Viator tours in Europe and in Japan and had good experiences, but this tour was so poorly done. Viator should look at the qualities of tour companies they work with.
