- Great day out with perfect weather and conditions. On the way out to Whitsunday Island, we happened to come across at least eight humpback whales including getting close up to a mum and baby whale. A bonus to slow right down and get a photo op.
Transfers to and from the beach was easy even for some the less able passengers. The walk up the hill to the lookout involves about 300 steps but was well worth the effort. Whitehaven beach is a definite must see and experience.
Lunch and refreshments were plentiful. Highly recommend.

Magnificent Whitehaven Beach - Great cruise and amazing super friendly staff. Lunch was varied and plenty for everyone. Drinks at the bar were fairly priced. Whitehaven beach for 2 hours was beautiful, but then again we had the most perfect weather conditions

Very comfy trip to Whitehaven Beach - Having a bigger boat meant bathrooms onboard, plenty of indoor seating for rough conditions. Lunch and bar available on this trip. Two stops on this trip, the inlet lookout and then Whitehaven Beach

FANTASTIC TOUR....10/10 - SeaLink Whitehaven Big Island Day Tour is one of the best experiences we have had in many years and very reasonably priced for all that it included.
The day started by being picked up by a friendly bus driver and transported to Shute Harbour where an impressive large Catamaran was waiting .
The passengers were warmly welcomed and shown aboard by the friendly captain and crew.
The day included delicious morning and afternoon tea and an impressive and plentiful buffet lunch.
The commentary from the captain while cruising past the beautiful islands in the Whitsundays was extremely interesting.
The passengers were given the opportunity to walk to Hill Inlet lookout and later The Southern Lookout which had incredible views over Whitehaven Beach and surrounds. Passengers were taken ashore by Tender which was easy to board and no one got their feet wet when landing. The crew accompanied the passengers as guides pointing out interesting features along the way to the lookouts and assisted anyone who wanted their photos taken with the stunning backdrops behind them.
The captain and crew looked after everyone on board and the comfort enjoyment and particularly safety was important to them.
Extras such as complimentary 'stinger suits, were offered to anyone who wanted them and whilst lazing on the pristine white sands of Whitehaven beach enjoying the spectacular scenery, gazebos and drinks were available. Even beach toys, buckets and spades were supplied for the children. The crew organised and joined in a game of beach cricket which was enjoyed by both those playing and those watching all the fun antics.
The passengers were then taken back to the Catamaran for a delicious afternoon tea and cruised back to Shute Harbour.
At the conclusion of a truly wonderful day the passengers were given a warm farewell by the Captain and crew and left feeling on top of the world.
Our friendly bus driver was waiting when we docked and everyone was transported back to their accommodation .
I can thoroughly recommend this tour to everyone . Definitely 5 stars!!

Great Whitehaven day trip - Great full day trip! The crew were amazing and the itinerary was perfect, with enough time allocated for the walk up to the lookout and then free time on Whitehaven beach. Highly recommended.

Spectacular, informative, ticked all the boxes - This excursion was the best from start to finish. Well worth it. The crew were informative, the food was plenty and great choice. The catamaran had plenty of room and comfortable. The walk up to the viewing platform at Hill inlet was spectacular. Free time at Whitehaven beach was wonderful. The cruise around the Islands with the commentary from the skipper was great. My husband and I would highly recommend doing this wonderful excursion. It ticked all the boxes for young and not so young. Thank you Sealink for an enjoyable day out.

A brilliant day out! 👏 - We did this Sealink Cruise to Whitehaven Besch and Hill Inlet on Sunday, 9 June 25. It was fabulous! We visited two brilliant places. We went swimming on Whitehaven Beach, did a couple of great bush walks and met some lovely people. I can't praise the Sealink staff enough. Their efforts contributed to giving us an extraordinary time. Thank you!

Fabulous - We were a group of 6 women & most have been to Whitehaven before but we chose to go on this cruise because of the & size of the boat. It wasn't crowded & the staff were great there was plenty of space to move around . It was a beautiful day out at Whitehaven we had a ball 👌

Breathtaking - We went with our daughter of 2. The boat is large and stable and the group size is perfect. Everyone could sit outside quietly. We really enjoyed the beauty of Hill Inlet and Whitehaven and saw some big spiders and a snake and some sea turtles. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and relaxed. Also for our toddler. They also had toys so she could play at Whitehaven with a bucket and shovel.
Next time I would book here again. We have enjoyed ourselves so much.
