As you sample over 15 distinct Northern Thai flavors, your guide will shed light on the region’s tastes and their historical influence on its gastronomy. The meeting point is at the Wat Lok Moli temple, by the north gate of the city. It's easy to reach from most hotels. When you enter the temple grounds, look to the left and your guide will meet you in front of the gold 4-headed statue, under the big tree.

Good food, good company - The variety of the food we tasted was very good and typical of the Chaing Mai region . Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was very interesting.
Go with an empty stomach as there are a lot of tastings!

Fun, delicious and informative! - Such a wonderful tour! We got to try so many different dishes that we probably would never have found otherwise, and were so full by the end. Make sure to come hungry! Our guide was really lovely and we had heaps of fun chatting while driving around the city. She shared with us a lot of the history of the area and of the dishes we were trying which really added to the experience. Thankyou for a great time!

Great Food and an Educational experience. - Incredible tour and our guide Miou was the perfect host. Each stop and dish was clearly explained and she wove the history of the dish and the area into a tapestry of the entire region. The many ethnic influences were explained and an appreciation of the complexity of northern food was really gained. Highly recommend this tour - both for quality of food and also educational purposes.

Must-do for any visit to Chiang Mai! - This food tour was the highlight of our visit to Chiang Mai. We got to try so many different dishes and foods and our guide was very informative. Everything was delicious. The tour was well thought out including plentiful water and hand wipes. We got to meet the chefs at most of the food stalls and restaurants. This tour is a must-do.

Great tour - I had a great time. Our guide was super nice and very knowledgeable. She took us around to different spots where they already had our food and seating ready, and the costs (unlimited bottled water but other drinks like beer are not included) are already included. So all you have to do is show up and eat. They drive you around in one of the red buses so you don’t have to walk to each place.
I thought the food was all really good and we hit several well known places in Chiang Mai and had some northern style specialties that you can’t get elsewhere.

Chiang Mai food tour with Oni was an exceptional evening - Our Food tour with Oni was exceptional. Oni was easy to understand, she was pleasant and seemed to really enjoy her job, her conversation, knowledge of Northern Thailand and enthusiasm of the food and their ingredients was second to none. I would highly recommend this experience.

A must do experience when in Chiang Mai - Aim was a fantastic guide who not only showed us all these great meals but also gave us cultural / health and historical lesions along the way.

An adventure of how Chiang Mai food came to be - Our guide took us to parts we'd probably never think of to get food. It was an amazing experience of the city's history: how conflict and migration made the area a melting pot of amazing flavors. It was a good amount of food. I'd recommend not eating too much before you start the tour.

Northern Flavors Tour - My husband and I did the Northern Flavors tour, and enjoyed every minute of it. Our tour guide, Aim, was very knowledgeable not only about the food itself, but also the history of the region which explains why the food is unique. A Chef's Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Chiang Mai.
