Join a small-group day expedition (fully inclusive) to the region of Chiang Rai, where you will explore numerous sights, from the contemporary design of the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) to the historic remnants of the city of Chiang Saen (Wat Chedi Luang). Take a scenic ride on a long-tail boat along the Mekong River and marvel at the vantage point of the Golden Triangle. A Thai Set Lunch is also provided, as is two-way hotel conveyance from Chiang Mai.

- Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults
- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- The duration of hotel pickups is approximately 30 minutes; the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions

Excellent tour - Great tour with excellent tour guide. Saw loads and enjoyed the temples, the lunch and the boat trip on the Mekong. Would recommend the trip.

Amazing White Temple - It’s a long day but certainly worth it. The White Temple was truly amazing. Visiting the Golden triangle very interesting being able to see all 3 countries at the same time. Our guide Ekky & driver Tai were very good. Lunch was beautifully cooked vegetarian food.

Amazing day. - Fantastic day. Well organised tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Amazing experiences. The driver was fantastic, and the guide was amazing. Guide spent the whole day explaining everything so well. Would highly recommend.

We are so happy we chose... - We are so happy we chose this tour. Yes, it is a full day. However, the pacing and stops made the time fly by. Each was interesting and we had just enough time to enjoy. The boxed breakfast with coffee, restocked water supply, delicious lunch and coffee stop at end were all top notch and made for a relaxing outing ( we felt pampered!). The driver was terrific….. polite and handing cold water and towels after stops. Ms. Pookie was an OUTSTANDING guide. She truly went above and beyond in her explanation of not only our stops, but Thai history and culture. What a great tour. The best in town!!

Great tour with Pae - Pae is an excellent tour guide and we recommend any tours with him. He is very knowledgeable about the visited attractions and Thailand in general.
We would definitely do the tour again.

Great Tour! - Excellent tour experience! Our very small group made for a comfortable and spacious ride in the van, allowing for a more personalized and engaging experience. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, providing insightful information and answering all of our questions. The itinerary was well-paced, and we had plenty of opportunities to take in the sights without feeling too rushed. Provided lots of water so you never got dehydrated. Arrived at White temple before the crowds got too bad. Highly recommend!

2 Day Trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai - We did the 2 day, not the one day tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai with golden triangle etc. We were absolutely thrilled, the tour was super organized and our guide Tui was totally great! We're on the 5. Sometimes in Thailand and northern Thailand and learned so many new things through him and exchanged views about the culture. During this time we explored great locations, not only temples but also the Opium Museum on the golden triangle but also a tea plantation.
It was 2 super great days, thank you very much to Tui, the best tour guide ever :-)
