Activity 2 - 10:00 am (2:00 pm) Appreciate Cultural Relics and Tour a Sichuan Style Garden
Accompanied by a professional Chuancai guide, explore the history and traditional culture of Sichuan cuisine by viewing over 6,000 cultural relics. Relax in a beautiful classical Sichuan-style garden spanning 27,000 square meters.

Sichuan Cuisine Museum - Activity 3 - 10:40 am (2:40 pm) Discover the Raw Ingredients for Chuancais
Visit the organic vegetable garden and observe roaming poultry. Feel free to pick some organic vegetables. Experience traditional manufacturing techniques such as flipping, sunburning, and dewing to make Pixian chili bean paste. Taste Xuanzi pea jelly and savor the delicacy of the chili bean paste.
Activity 4 - 10:55 am (2:55 pm) Worship the Kitchen God
The Kitchen God, revered as the master of all Chinese chefs, is a significant part of Sichuan’s traditional folk culture. The Sichuan Cuisine Museum houses the largest Kitchen God Ancestral Hall in the world. Worshiping him serves as a reminder to cherish food and foster a harmonious coexistence with nature.

The Street of Old Sichuan Cuisine Restaurants is renowned for its panoramic representation of Sichuan cuisines. Discover famous Chuancai restaurants like ChangShengYuan, ZuiXiaXuan, ZhenJiangLou, ZuiTaoCun, and more, all in the style of western Sichuan folk houses.
Activity 6 - 11:15 am (3:15 pm) Process Chuancai Ingredients with Traditional Tools
Begin by identifying various food processing tools. Make chili powder using a Qing Dynasty pestle, experience making bean curd pudding with a grinding machine, and taste delicious spicy or sweet bean curd pudding. Engage in traditional food processing techniques and enjoy the delicacies you create.

Sichuan Cuisine Museum - Activity 7 - 11:30 am (3:30 pm) Cook 3 Classic Chuancai Dishes
Don a chef’s uniform and cook three Sichuan dishes under the personal guidance of a Chuancai specialist. Experience the thrill of Chuancai cooking with firsthand knowledge of cutting skills, heat control, and cooking processes, along with secret presentation tips. Delight your senses with the sight, smell, taste, and touch of Chuancai, known for its ‘hundreds of dishes boasting hundreds of flavors’ and ‘blending of five basic flavors in various ways to create myriad flavors.’ A nationally-renowned Top Chef specializing in Chuancai will taste and comment on your cooking, after which you will receive an official ‘Master of Chuancai’ certificate. Choose from the following menus: A. Panda steamed dumpling, Kung Pao chicken, Mapo Tofu; B. Pumpkin steamed dumplings, Daqian dry-braised fish, boiled beef in chili sauce. -
Sichuan Cuisine Museum - Activity 8 - 12:40 pm (4:40 pm) Enjoy Dishes Cooked by Yourself
Savor the delicious dishes you have prepared, accompanied by complimentary fruits, red wine, alcohol brewed with traditional Chinese herbs, beverages, fruit and vegetable juice, and covered tea, among others. Guests will also receive the recipes of the dishes they cooked and are encouraged to fill out feedback forms.
Activity 9 - 1:40 pm (5:40 pm) Finish with Tea and Leisure, Drive Back to Chengdu
After all the hard work and excitement, relax and experience the life of a ‘Chengduer’: Sit in bamboo chairs and sip tea from a traditional Chinese teacup set in the tea house. Enjoy snacks like peanuts and sunflower seeds or play several rounds of Mahjong, a favorite pastime, before returning to Chengdu.
