Must do 1/2 day wine experience right outside Siena - The vineyard was a short (20 minutes) and inexpensive taxi from the city center (about 40 Euros for the roundtrip). The location is stunning, as you take in the views of the surrounding hills. The owner was delightful, and full of knowledge and the tour he gives of the property, and the basics of organic winemaking were great to learn. The wine tasting experience really helped my wife and I to absorb a ton of new information that we'll take for our life going forward. The meal greatly surpassed our expectations, and the careful preparation worked to bring out the best in all the wines. Please go if you have a half day free in the Siena area!

A great day out, the tour... - A great day out, the tour was really informative and in a stunning setting. Generous glasses of delicious wine alongside great food topped it off. We were left to enjoy our wine in the sun until we were ready to leave. Highly recommend!

Excellent time and the... - Excellent time and the lunch was light but filling- the food paired so well with the wines! Our guide was more than friendly! It was a little chilly on the day we went but nothing anyone can do about the weather. Our guide helped us call a taxi back to our hotel in Siena at the end of our expierence. 10/10 would (and already have!) recommend.
