Winery Khareba - Winery Khareba: Centuries-old of winemaking tradition and special 7,7 tunnel for keeping wine makes this place a marvelous place for wine lovers. Khareba Tunnels were built originally for military purposes during the cold war but in the 1960s turned into wine cellars. The tunnels are cut off in the Caucasus mountains and its massif includes granite surrounded by shale layers. Because of it, any times of the year, the temperature in the tunnel is 10-14 C. Taste 4 different wines of the Khareba winery in the tunnel itself.

Participants will visit the key wineries and cultural landmarks in the Kakheti region. The tour includes a stop in the charming town of Sighnagi, known as the city of love, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains while sampling some of Georgia’s finest wines, including the organic Okro’s Wines. Additionally, the tour includes a visit to the Khareba winery, which stores its wine in a tunnel carved into the Caucasus mountain range. The tour concludes with a visit to another prominent Georgian winery, Corporation Kindzmarauli, renowned for its semi-sweet red wines.
