Anuradhapura - After breakfast, explore the sacred city of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s ancient capitals, renowned for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient civilization. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city includes visits to Thuparamaya, Lovamahapaya, Ruwanweliseya, and Sri Maha Bodhiya. Later, visit Mihintale, a mountain peak near Anuradhapura, believed to be the site of the meeting between Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa, marking the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya.
Dagoba of Thuparama - Thuparamaya is the first Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka, located in the sacred area of Mahamewna Park. The Thuparamaya Stupa is the earliest Dagoba constructed on the island, dating back to the reign of King Devanampiya Tissa.
Lovamahapaya Brazen Palace - Lovamahapaya, also known as the Brazen Palace or Lohaprasadaya, is situated between Ruwanweliseya and Sri Mahabodiya in Anuradhapura. The building, with a bronze-tiled roof, historically included the refectory and the uposathagara.
Ruwanwelisaya - The Ruwanwelisaya is a stupa and hemispherical structure containing relics in Sri Lanka, revered by Buddhists worldwide. It houses the largest collection of the Buddha’s relics, with two quarts or one Drona enshrined.
Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi - Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi is a sacred fig tree in Mahamewna Gardens, Anuradhapura. It is believed to be a southern branch from the historical Sri Maha Bodhi at Buddha Gaya in India, under which Buddha attained Enlightenment.

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - After breakfast, visit and climb the renowned Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Following this, visit the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa. Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, noted for its ancient urban planning. The site is dominated by a massive rock column nearly 200 meters (660 ft.) high. Polonnaruwa is the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms, known for its well-planned archaeological relics. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya.
Polonnaruwa - The Kingdom of Polonnaruwa was the administrative center from which Sinhalese kings ruled Sri Lanka from 1055 to 1232. It was the second administrative center of Rajarata.

Dambulla Cave Temple - After breakfast, head to Kandy, stopping at Dambulla Rock Cave Temple along the way. Explore a spice garden and a batik factory in Kandy, and visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic). Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue - Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya is a Theravada Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka, located in Bahirawakanda, about 2 km (1.2 mi) from the city center. The temple is famous for its giant Buddha statue, depicted in the Dhyana Mudra posture of meditation associated with Buddha’s first Enlightenment. The statue stands at 26.83 m (88.0 ft) high and is one of the tallest in Sri Lanka.
Kandy View Point - This stunning viewpoint is located on Rajapihilla Mawatha and ranks 5th among 105 tourist attractions in Kandy. Near Kandy Lake, it is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes of mountains and meadows. From the city, take the Rajapihilla Mawatha Route, followed by a 1 km steep climb to the viewpoint. A tuk-tuk can also be hired to reach the top. The panoramic view is worth the ascent, offering a view of Kandy town, Kandy Lake, and Dalada Maligawa.

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Royal Botanical Gardens - After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden before continuing to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a tea factory en route. Later, visit Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. The Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya attract 2 million visitors annually and are renowned for their orchid collection. The garden features over 4000 plant species, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees, covering 147 acres (0.59 km2).
Rawana Falls - On the way to Nuwara Eliya, visit several waterfalls, including the Ramboda Falls.
Pedro Tea Factory - En route to Nuwara Eliya, visit the Tea Factory and the lush Tea Plantations.
Gregory Lake - Upon reaching Nuwara Eliya, visit Gregory Lake, established in 1873 and the most prominent attraction in Nuwara Eliya. Visitors enjoy spending time by the lake and engaging in water sports activities. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Tissamaharama - After breakfast, depart for Tissamaharama, visiting the 26-foot (8-meter) Ravana waterfalls along the way. Check-in at the hotel, then embark on a Jeep safari in Yala National Park in the mid-afternoon.
Yala National Park - Yala National Park is the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. It combines a strict nature reserve with a national park and is renowned for its diverse wildlife. The park is crucial for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, and aquatic birds. Tissamaharama – Mirissa
Hambantota - After breakfast, transfer to Mirissa, visiting Hambantota Salterns and the Stilt Fisherman at Weligama en route, followed by Galle Fort.
Galle Fort - Galle Fort is located on a peninsula within the walled remains of a fortress initially developed by the Portuguese in the 1500s and later expanded by the Dutch and British. The National Museum showcases artifacts like masks and carvings, while the National Maritime Archaeology Museum is housed in a 17th-century warehouse. The Galle Fort Clock Tower dates back to the 1880s, and a lighthouse overlooks a small swimming beach.

Mirissa - Whale Watching
Mirissa Beach - After breakfast, embark on a Whale and Dolphin watching tour. Whale and Dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water activities in Sri Lanka. The warm waters around Sri Lanka are ideal for spotting blue whales, Bryde’s whales, sperm whales, fin whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and occasionally killer whales. Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, and striped dolphins can also be seen. Whale watching tours typically start around 7:00 am as boats leave the harbor and last about 3.5-4 hours.
