Our driver guide will pick up guests from their location and head towards Sigiriya.

Sigiriya: The Ancient Rock Fortress - The remnants of the capital built by King Kassapa I (477–95) are located on the steep slopes and at the top of a granite peak, standing approximately 180 meters high. Known as the ‘Lion’s Rock’, it dominates the surrounding jungle. A series of galleries and staircases, emerging from the mouth of a massive lion made of bricks and plaster, provide access to the site.

Sigiriya to Kandy

Sigiriya Craft Village - Begin the day with a traditional village tour, offering insights into rural life in Sri Lanka. This small-group tour includes visits to paddy fields, a bullock cart ride, a boat ride, learning about the traditional agriculture method known as chena, and a cooking demonstration, followed by an included lunch. The tour concludes with a Tuk Tuk ride back.

Golden Temple of Dambulla - A sacred pilgrimage site for over 22 centuries, this cave monastery with its five sanctuaries is the largest and best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings, covering an area of 2,100 m², and the 157 statues are of particular importance.

New Ranweli Spice Garden - Experience Sri Lanka’s renowned spices at their source. Visit a spice garden where the aromas of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, and mace fill the air. Visitors gain insight into the ancient spice production industry that attracted many European and Asian merchants to Sri Lanka’s ports.

A Day in Kandy (The Last Kingdom of Sri Lanka)

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, this Buddhist temple in Kandy is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, housing the relic of the Buddha’s tooth.

Bahirawakanda - The temple on Bahirawakanda hill, called the Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya, is famous for its giant Buddha statue, visible from almost any point in Kandy. Built in 1972, the statue depicts Lord Buddha in the Nirvana pose, associated with his first Enlightenment. Standing over 25 meters tall, it is one of the tallest Buddha statues in Sri Lanka.

Natural Gems and Gemmological Museum - Positioned globally as a leading source of high-quality sapphires, Sri Lanka is renowned for its gem cutting and finishing. The island offers gemstones that meet the highest international standards, with over 70 varieties of colored stones found here. Sri Lankan gem suppliers and dealers take pride in offering calibrated and fancy cut gemstones, high-value single stones, and quality service cutting.

Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - The Kandy cultural dance is a vibrant showcase of Sri Lankan arts, dance, and cultural heritage. Established in 1982, it brings together all Sri Lankan dance types on one platform. The show features dances depicting the graceful movements of birds and animals, tracing back to the ancient Kohomba Kapkariya ritual, as well as energetic acrobatic performances, including plate-spinning and the dramatic ‘fire walk’ finale.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (Through the Tea Plantations)

Ambuluwawa Tower Gampola - The Ambuluwawa Tower is a unique destination in Sri Lanka, located in the Ambuluwawa Diversity Complex, the country’s first multi-religious center. It features a Buddhist Stupa, a Christian Church, a Hindu Kovil, and a Muslim Mosque.

Ramboda Waterfall - A brief stop at this stunning waterfall.

Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden - Enjoy a fresh cup of Sri Lankan tea and visit a tea plantation and factory.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella

Gregory Lake - Known as “Little England,” this great lake park offers various water sports and small restaurants.

Nanu Oya Railway Station - Train to Ella
This train ride is considered one of the best highlights of the tour in Sri Lanka. Free tickets will be booked for guests.

Ella to Mirissa

Nine Arches Bridge - Also known as the Bridge in the Sky, this viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka is a prime example of colonial-era railway construction. It is located between Ella and Demodara railway stations.

Yala National Park - Known as leopard country, Yala boasts the highest leopard density in the world. These majestic predators roam alongside elephants and cautious deer. Main animals to observe include leopards, elephants, bears, and deer.

Mirissa

Mirissa - Optional activities include scuba diving, whale watching, visiting Coconut Tree Hill, and relaxing on the stunning beach.

Galle Fort - A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Galle Dutch Fort’s history is captured in travelers’ photos and stories. Initially built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, it was later fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century and eventually taken over by the British. Once a trading port for spices and goods, today it is a place of history, romance, and beauty. Visitors are welcomed to explore its exotic stories and heritage.

Fifty Lighthouse Street, located within the fort, offers an ideal base for exploring Galle’s charms. Preserved in its original glory, guests can stroll along the ramparts and admire structures like the Galle Lighthouse, Galle Clocktower, and the Groote Kerk.
