Best Cooking Class in Sigriya - The cooking class was so much fun and interesting. We learned so much about the spices and ingredients and also about possible substitutes we can find in our countries. So this cooking class really goes the extra mile to really give you the best preparation for cooking Sri lankian style at home. Really loved it! Thank you Sajee and Suzy🫶🏻

Warm host, warm welcome, warm food - Last minute decision to book a workshop. Warm welcome by Sajee and his wife. Introduction into Sri Lankan cuisine where you can do it all by yourself from scratch, lots of tips and tricks and afterwards you can eat it all what you have prepared and get all the recipes Sent as pdf's. A nice variation as activity between all the hiking and safaris. Love what Sajee is doing in a nice setting.

Great cooking course – highly recommended! - We took a fantastic cooking course with Sajee and his wife. From the beginning it felt very welcoming and relaxed. We worked with fresh, flavorful ingredients and learned step by step how to prepare the most delicious Sri Lankan curries. Sajee speaks excellent English, which made it easy to follow everything well and really learn something about the ingredients and cooking techniques. The result was delightful – the food tasted amazing! Both were incredibly kind and patient. A great experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves good food and wants to learn something new.

Learn to cook Sri Lankan curry by the sweetest people - Today we were lucky to have a cooking class with Sajee and his wife (the real Chef?). They patiently guided us through the basics of making Shri Lankan curries and sambol, while we inexpertly tried to make it through the preparations while they made sure we did not mess it up 😏 In the end we learned some new skills, new recipes and had a huge lunch of delicious local food! Sajee is a wellspring of knowledge and will already discuss some local substitute ingredients as he takes you through the preparations. Totally worth the time and money and in a beautiful location.

Great cooking class in Sigiriya - Great Cooking Class in Sigiriya. So much attention and peace, in a beautiful place. Sent a message at the end of the day yesterday, within 10 minutes we knew we could go the next day at 10 am. Through the off-season we were two, together with Sajee and his wife. The food was delicious! Products that are also available in Europe have been considered. Afterwards all recipes (and more) received via the app! Absolutely recommended.

Fun and delicious - We had a fantastic morning with Sajee and his wife Susie. The cooking class was fun, informative and the food was absolutely delicious. They both welcomed us into their specially made cooking space, which was clean and surrounded by their home gardens. We learned about the Sri Lanka spices, vegetables and cooking techniques in a simple and fun way. The recipes which we have to take home were simple and we are excited to cook them when back in Australia. Highly recommend

Best Curry in SRI LANKA - We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the cooking class with Sajee and his wife. In a very authentic kitchen, we learned how to make several different curry dishes completely from scratch, with explanations about the spices, ingredients, and how the locals source them. We got hands-on with all the dishes, tasted along the way, and heard stories about Sri Lanka, the surrounding local community, and the culture. At no point did we feel like just a “source of income” for them – on the contrary, we felt like part of the family. The food tasted heavenly – the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. And the best part is that anything not eaten is given to local children and families. We can ONLY recommend this place!
