Private Day Excursion to Sigiriya from Colombo - We had an excellent day trip and had an excellent experience with Go Ceylon Tours. All arrangements for our transfer priority to arrival were very easy and efficient with great communication over WhatsApp. We received a brilliant service from this tour company and they were highly professional and communicative, responded really quickly and great way to explore sigiriya.
Our guide and driver Mr. Ayan arrived as stated picked us up earlier at our request from our hotel The Radisson Colombo. Right from the start he was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and informative about the sight seeing we were driving through. We visited Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, Dambulla Golden Cave Temple and Fantastic village tour experience with sri lankan traditional lunch at village house. It was little adventure and 100% memorable.
If you choose to go on this tour we can highly recommend asking Ayan can take you with lot of happy memories. Very good guide and driving with assistance throughout the day. We can only recommend the tour with him. Definitely want to keep in touch with this company for future traveling.

Wonderful Experience with Best Tour Agency in Sri Lanka - A great and reliable travel company we booked the two day trip from colombo to sigiriya. In advance and everything was perfectly organized in additionally they took us to Minneriya National Park and it was unforgettable wildlife jeep safari experience.
Our guide and driver Mr. Madusanka who is knowledgeable and he gave best service which his best. The authentic sri lankan lunch was so good and this village experience is such a marvelous adventure. Climbing lion rock all the way up was nice and easy and so many beautiful views.
We will never hesitate to use this tour company and guide again when we back to Sri Lanka. This Go Ceylon Tours travel company and Mr. Madu again and again as they are perfect for every travelers who comes to get a great travel experience in Sri Lanka. Best of luck!!!!

Memorable Day Trip with Thisath - We took a one day trip from Kalutara to Sigiriya with a local guide Thisath. We visited Golden Cave Temple, Lion Rock, Traditional Village Experience and Evening Cultural Dancing Show. He is very caring, punctual and professional. He quoted very good reasonable price for us. Dambulla cave paintings are very well preserved and are really amazing. Driving is all the day journey in a car with Thisath was very careful and efficient. He and us made sure that we saw all the places what are the mainly important. This ancient city is very extensive and so much history and so much to seeing. Highly recommended this tour company and guide.

Great hospitality and very friendly - We had an excellent experience from to finish. This wonderful day seeing all the sisights, visiting temples, hiking the Lion Rock and taking our first Safari Tour in Sir Lanka. Amazing time to visiting Sigiriya and Dambulla Golden Cave Temple the history in Sri Lanka is mind below. Totally this tour recommended by the best tour company in Sir Lanka Go Ceylon Tours!
Our Chauffeur and Guide was Mr. Madusanka! He was very friendly and helpful. He gave us many tips and also a better understanding of Sri Lanka and Culture. Our trip in Sri Lanka became so special and memorable because of him. We guess we are the lucky group to have this Guide for our day trip.
Once again, thank you Madusanka for making our trip so special and memorable. When we visit Sri Lanka in next time we will definitely coming through Go Ceylon Tours and we will definitely want Madusanka as our tour guide. Highly recommended!!

Amazing one day trip to Sigiriya with Ayan - Amazing One Day Trip to Sigiriya with Guide Ayan
We spent wonderful one day trip to Sigiriya and Dambulla Sri Lanka and we owe much of our great experience to our guide and driver Mr. Ayan.
From the very beginning, communication with him was excellent. He listened carefully to our wishes and helped us prepare a well-balanced and varied Day Itinerary that truly matched what we were looking for our memorable day.
During the planning phase, Buddhika gave us a selection of sight seeing to choose from for each location including Minneriya Jeep Safari which allowed us to tailor the trip to our preferences and budget. This flexibility was very much appreciated.
Throughout the entire journey, Ayan was professional, punctual, and incredibly helpful. He guided us with care, and his local knowledge and wide network of contacts made a real difference. Thanks to him, we had access to unique experiences and met trustworthy, kind people along the way. Mr. Ayan was also our driver. The Van was spacious and for us it was relaxing that we didn’t have to drive in busy Sri Lanka.
We would recommend Ayan from Go Ceylon Tours to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka. He is a reliable and honest person who not only prepared our journey thoughtfully but also ensured everything went smoothly while we were there. And all of this at a very reasonable price. Very organised and well planned tour agency! - A perfect arrangement to one day excursion
We were in need of a one-way tour from Colombo to Sigiriya, with stops at the Dambulla Caves and Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Mr. Madusanka from Sri Lanka by Car responded to our email inquiries and was able to arrange this one day private transfer for us.
Our driver and guide, Thisath, arrived at our Colombo Radisson hotel ahead of time. Thisath speaks very good English and is quite knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and Specially about Sigiriya. He brought us to some local places for food, which we appreciated, as the food was reasonable and delicious also so yummy.
At the caves, Thisath provided commentary so we could understand the history of the caves and how they came to have so many Buddhas States. After that, Thisath helped us find a wood carving store so we could purchase a piece we were interested in. When we arrived at Sigiriya, we decided to wait until morning to climb on our own, when it would be a bit cooler. So we missed out on Thisath's expert information, but that was our choice due to arriving near the rock fortress late in the afternoon.
If you planning to do one day excursion or round tour around Sri Lanka, we would highly recommended this lovely guide and Go Ceylon Tours travel company make a memorable trip in Sir Lanka. Thank you very much!

Another wonderful perfect day tour in Sri Lanka - Colombo to sigiriya. Our tour guide Madusanka arrived as stated and picked us up earlier at our request from outside our hotel the The Kingsburry in Colombo as we wanted to miss the rush hour traffic and mid morning sun, right from the start. He was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and informative about the places, cities and like a tourists information we were driving through the journey.
We arrived at Sigiriya in good time and were shown by Madusanka where to get our tickets, it was USD 37 for an adult ticket which we feel is rather expensive, they take cards, cash, rupees or dollars any of currency. The steps up are quite steep at the beginning and by the time we got to the paws. We and many others were already out of breath, the climb is not as hard as we thought it would be but it is quite scary in places as most of the 1,200+ steps are metal and see though with gaps in between, the handrail is thin and the staircase narrow, people are walking both up and down the stairs but were very patient and polite, we did start feeling unwell and dizzy but after a rest at the top, water and lots of photos we were ready to come down, we were back in the car in less than 3 hours.
The tombs at Dambulla were interesting but there were a lot of people around and photographs had to be taken quickly, after walking up the steps in Sigiriya the 350+ steps were definitely not leg friendly in places, before going home we went to the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, it was USD 10 to get in and quite honestly there was too much to see there beautiful painting, thousand of buddha status and five different caves, it took more than 01 hour to walk round but it was clean and tidy and the staff there were friendly. If you choose to go on this tour we highly recommend asking if Madusanka can take you, lots of happy memories, very tired legs but anther perfect day spent in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended this lovely guide with Go Ceylon Tours travel company.

Our short trip - Excellent Trip from Colombo
This is an excellent trip if you are based in Colombo and aren't planning to stay in Kandy. This was exactly what we were looking for as a quick and fast introduction to the culture triangle with our limited time. It is a long day but you see a lot of things. The guide and drive Mr. Madusanka were excellent not only in knowledge, and making sure we had everything we needed. But also driving respectful, smooth and safely. It was a busy day at the Cave temple, Sigiriya and the additional safari due to it being a special holiday in Sri Lanka. So check that and I would recommend any other day. If it wasn't for our tour guide setting us up with a local Sigiriya guide at the site. I think I would still be in line trying to climb, due to the amount of people. I highly recommend this tour package and highly recommended Madusanka and Go Ceylon Tours! Thank you very much!!
