Sigiriya: The Ancient Rock Fortress - Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, guests will be warmly welcomed by a tour representative and then proceed to Sigiriya. After checking in at the hotel, the rest of the day is free for relaxation. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya – Anuradhapura – Mihintale – Sigiriya

Anuradhapura - Following breakfast, travel to the sacred city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the ruins and discover ancient Buddhist monasteries and temples, followed by an afternoon visit to Mihintale. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya

Polonnaruwa - After breakfast, visit and climb the renowned Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Then, proceed on a sightseeing tour of the Polonnaruwa Ancient City. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy

Kandy City Center - After breakfast, tour the impressive Dambulla Cave Temple, admiring ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Visit a spice garden in Matale to learn about the therapeutic uses of local spices. Continue to Kandy for a tour of the Temple of the Tooth, which houses a significant relic, a tooth of Lord Buddha, preserved in a golden casket. In the evening, enjoy traditional music at a cultural show. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya - After breakfast, explore the city of Kandy and shop for souvenirs. Visit the Royal Botanical Garden before heading to Nuwara Eliya. Travel through scenic mountains to the tea-producing town of Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a traditional tea plantation in the central highlands to learn about tea cultivation and its impact on the Ceylon region. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya – Tissamaharama

Tissamaharama - After breakfast, depart from Nuwara Eliya and head to Udawalawe National Park or Yala National Park, stopping at Rawana Falls along the way. Enjoy an evening safari by jeep. Overnight stay in Tissa.

Tissa – Galle – Hikkaduwa

Galle - After breakfast, transfer back to Colombo, visiting Hambantota Salters and the Stilt Fishermen at Weligama en route, followed by a visit to Galle Fort. Overnight stay at Hikkaduwa Beach.

Hikkaduwa – Colombo – Airport

Colombo Airport Transfers - Depart for Colombo via the southern expressway. Depending on the time available, enjoy last-minute shopping in Colombo city before transferring to the airport two hours prior to departure.
