Arrival in Simpson Bay

The moment I arrived in Simpson Bay, I felt the familiar pull of the ocean calling me. As a marine biologist, the allure of the sea is something I can never resist. This time, I was here to experience the renowned St Maarten Scuba Diving with Aqua Mania Adventures. Having heard rave reviews about their dive operations, I was eager to explore the underwater wonders of St Maarten.

The dive shop was conveniently located at the Simpson Bay Resort, making it an easy choice for anyone staying in the area. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff exuded professionalism and warmth. I was introduced to Georgina, our dive leader for the week, whose reputation preceded her. The visibility was surprisingly good, even after the recent passage of Tropical Storm Jerry. The underwater world was a kaleidoscope of colors, with sponges, sea fans, and a myriad of fish creating a mesmerizing tapestry. Each dive site offered something unique, from the historic wreck of the Proselyte to the thriving coral reefs teeming with life.
