- Peles Castle - Peles Castle serves as the summer residence for Romania’s royal family, constructed in the 19th century by Carol the First. It is considered the most beautiful castle in Romania, and possibly in Europe. The castle is primarily built in a German Renaissance style. It boasts 160 rooms and 30 bathrooms. A notable feature of the castle is its intricate woodwork crafted by Bernhard Ludwig from Vienna.
- Manastirea Sinaia - A stunning Orthodox monastery established in the 17th century.
- Rasnov Citadel: Garden and Panoramic View - Rasnov Fortress, built in the 13th century atop a rocky hill, offers an ideal vantage point over the surrounding valley, which is why it was only conquered once, in 1611. The fortress served to protect villagers during attacks. Visitors can explore the ruins of a Catholic chapel, defense towers, and the remains of approximately 80 houses, a school, and a water well dug by two prisoners, reaching a depth of 146 meters.
- Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Bran Castle transports visitors back to the 14th century, a time of simplicity. Here, one can admire the Gothic architecture of the castle. Built on a boulder in a valley, it served to oversee the border and protect the entrance into Transylvania. In 1897, it was famously linked to Dracula by Irish writer Bram Stoker.
The castle’s tall walls, cold, sturdy towers, and mysterious rooms create the perfect atmosphere to evoke medieval times when guards patrolled and Dracula was said to have tortured thousands.

A professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Brasov, ensuring attention to detail throughout the tour (Details make a difference!). Your only task is to enjoy the stunning landscapes, architecture, and decorations of Peles, Bran, and Rasnov castles, as well as the Sinaia Orthodox Monastery.
The guide will provide presentations of the castles and arrange private tours inside them. You will bypass the long lines at the ticket office and entrances.

- Peles castle will be closed in the month of November for cleaning , we will be visiting the Pelisor castle instead which is a smaller version of Peles
- Customer that don’t have or haven’t bought tickets for Peles castle will only visit the exterior and gardens

VIP experience that can... - VIP experience that can only come from a professional. We were brought to the front of every line while the guide explained the history in depth. Highly recommended.

Great Castle Tour from Brasov with Discovery Transylvania - We did the 3 castle (Peles, Bran and Cantacuzino (substitued for Rasnov as this castle is being renovated) and Sinaia monastery tour with Traian Bichea and he was a fantastic tour guide. Incredibly knowledgeable with excellent English (and a careful driver as well considering the winter driving conditions). Cantacuzino is a great substitute especially if you are a Netflix Wednesday TV series fan. The tour of Peles Castle was truly excellent since Traian made sure we were the first private tour group in and therefore we could go at our desired pace. Since Bran castle changed its tour policy in August 2025 Traian wasn't able to take us into the castle itself, but he gave us a thorough description/history of Bran castle and what to look out for. We felt that there was always ample and sufficient time to really enjoy the tour locations. It's great not to have that "rushed tour feeling". We highly recommend Traian/Discovery Transylvania if you desire a first-class private tour in Romania.

Excellent tour - highly recommend. - Fanatic tour. Traian, who owns the company, was a fantastic guide. Encyclopedic knowledge and great delivery/humor. He adeptly navigated huge tour groups, got us ahead of (some rather testy) crowds at Pelles, and liaised with the castle staff, who clearly love him. The castle is amazing. The Sinaia monastery is small and a quick stop, but worth it. We entered during an Orthodox service but were not unwelcome. At Bran, he taught me which stalls had real Romanian goods (as opposed to fakes made abroad). Note that tickets to Bran are sold separately and that the castle does not allow guides; however, Traian gave me a great primer before I entered. Bran is, not surprisingly, VERY touristy. And not super impressive inside. Lots of other tour highlights, but too many for a review. Highly recommend this tour.

Perfect day with Traiam. - Traiam was a great host and knowledgeable tour guide. He was obviously well liked by the locals and staff at the castles we visited; Bran, Peles, and Cantacuzino. Traiam shared vast historical knowledge about the region. He was especially enthusiastic about Peles Castle. He provided information about Vlad the Impaler upon request. Traiam’s Mercedes is immaculate. His manners are impeccable. His English is sufficient and he didn’t mind repeating himself when necessary. Only my son and I signed up for the tour and was very grateful that it wasn’t cancelled due to not meeting a required number of participants.

Good Day trip - If you're not driving in Transylvania, I highly recommend taking a day trip like this. I was going to try to organize it on my own with buses/trains and I'm glad that I didn't. For the 3 castle tour we toured Peles, Bran & Cantacuzino (Rasnov is closed for renovations). Traian was an excellent guide who walked us through our destinations. The vehicle was nice and clean, he was extremely knowledgeable and one could sit back, relax and be driven to the various destinations. What was VERY nice was for Peles, he conducted the tour for us in English just before the main doors opened so it was a very private tour rather than being mobbed. Its a beautiful place that is pretty original. For Cantacuzino (Wednesday Castle), he took us through as well but its a much smaller and a lot of originality inside was lost during the communist era. Bran, to be honest, felt more like a tourist trap. The outside was very picturesque. Inside, you pretty much march through it single file in one long line like a conga line. But since its Bran castle, and you're in Transylvania, you gotta do it.

Very disappointing - I had been really looking forward to this trip since I had booked it. We arrived the day before the trip from 15hrs of travelling with no WiFi to messages from our guide telling us to buy the tickets for the castles we were visiting. I was able to get 2 out of the 3 tickets. We were picked up as arranged the next morning. The vehicle was comfortable but no water available. We arrived at the monastery 1st, had about 15 mins there. Then the 1st castle (no tickets for this 1- we were given option to pay cash but decided not to). 2nd castle, got a short tour and short time in grounds. Then the 3rd castle- we had tickets but the wait was 2hrs long so we were told to scan a qr code to pay extra for fast track. Us and 2 other couples had problems- our money was taken but no verification of ticket. Our guide paid for our tickets ( we paid him back).Eventually we got in, approx 40 minutes later, left to our own devices in what I can only describe as a slow moving queue. Our guide gave us a 5 minute brief beforehand on the castle as he wasn't allowed into the castle. We were barely out of the castle when we got a phone call from our guide saying he had to return in his car to go back with others from the trip so we felt obliged to return to our car waiting. The only positives from this trip were the safe driving and calm demeanor of our driver and the gorgeous scenery.
