Cascada Urlatoarele - On the return journey to Brasov, make a stop in the charming town of Busteni. From there, embark on a gentle hike to Urlatoarea Waterfall in the Bucegi Mountains. Known for its impressive height, the waterfall is aptly named Urlatoarea (“the Screaming One”) and can be heard through the forest long before it comes into view.
Our tips: The trail is an easy 3 to 4 km with an elevation gain of 100-200 m, taking a total of 1 to 2 hours on wide paths without any exposure or dangerous cliffs. This excursion is ideal for families or groups who can comfortably walk on varied terrain for up to 2 hours.
Remember to bring light hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a raincoat.
