Excellent day trip - a must from Bucharest - Excellent trip to see 2 stunning castles. It was a very long day with pickup at 0740 and we did not get back till 2045 however both the castles and Brasov are well worth the visit. The only annoyance was the long queue at Peles and the castle seems to get far more visitors than it can cope with however our guide and driver were excellent and gave us so much information re the region and the history of Romania and the castles themselves.

A nice introduction to Transylvania - We had about 13 people on the tour. The Tour Guide (Laura) and driver were excellent. Everything was on time and luckily we had an amazing group of travelers. I really enjoyed all 3 stops, Peles castle, Brasov, and Brans Castle. No complaints. I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour - The tour was great, Peles Castle and Brasov are worth a visit. Bran castle not so much. Easter was a difficult time to visit as it was swarming with tourists and everything got delayed, but Serban, the guide, and Claudiu, the driver were excellent and tried to make the most out our time. I'd like to give a special shout out to Serban. He's a true patriot who loves his country and didn't miss an opportunity to tell us all he knew about every landmark.

So Dracula as a vampire wasn’t real but the home of Vlad was - This is a very long day trip and very busy a lot of people vying for entry so not for elderly or those unstable on their feet! Our guide Serban Riga was very good at explaining the history and keeping us on time

Everything was well organized. - Everything was well organized. Our guide, Laura, was fantastic! She gave us very interesting information about the country and its people and also gave us a competent tour of the castle and Brasov. She was very helpful, and we had a lot of fun with her. Even though our destinations were very busy that day, she organized everything brilliantly and didn't lose track of things. Peles Castle, in particular, is a truly magnificent castle!

2 castles trip - A long but great day. Took lots of food and water with us so didn’t need to worry about ordering in a restaurant and waiting as it was busy. Street food, pastries and hot drinks available. Bought tickets online in advance using their link which save queuing and got the seniors discount. Loved the ornate Peles interior- Bran’s secret staircase and history interesting but not so beautiful. Brasov a bit rushed as we had to help another group out that had an accident but enough time as it was snowy and very cold even in mid April. Camellia was good and driver safe. Definitely worth doing.

Average - The Peles Castle was great but Bran Castle was very underwhelming. The guide was quite knowledgeable but lacked charisma. Our driver was dangerous, driving too fast and too close to the cars in front.

Extremely disappointing! - view of Dracula's Castle, Brasov and Peles Castle On April 23,2025 I attended the small group tour by Travelmaster with tour guide Matthew. This tour lasted from 7:50 to 20:45. First the tour guide spend alot of his time in conversation with the driver Peter. His description of Romanian history and geography was disjointed in my opinion. Perhaps he needs a script. Key facts of the life of the middle son Vlad of Dracul were ommited, such as his cruel childhood as a hostage and that the eldest brother and father were killed by the Ottomans. Not mentioned were that embellishments of the story were made by Germans and that Vlad was trying to be like the reconquisters of France and Spain of the Moors. The tour was often rushed with Matthew walking at a 4 mph pace including up and down stairs and inclines. As a native New Yorker I am familiar with this pace but have never encountered a tour like this. At lunch Matthew did not even attempt to suggest what restaurants were in Brasov. I also had a severe problem with my allergies while riding for over 6 hours in the vehicle due to the dust. This vehicle is 75% fabric covered surfaces and did not appear to be cleanly maintained. Going home we were caught in a bad rainstorm and it was a frightening ride for 3 3/4 hours with no stops. After taking dozens of Viator trips this was my worst.
