Five star Tour! - We were blessed to have Octavian as our guide for the day. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Romania, both ancient and modern, and his presentations were a joy to listen to. Not only that, but Octavian went out of his way to get me to a pharmacy for assistance with my ankle pain, and helped make this trip far more comfortable for me. The Peles castle is not to be missed, and Octavian's descriptions of the different rooms, secret passages, artwork, and other aspects really. made the visit special. Brasov was another highlight and the restaurant he recommended was reasonably priced and had wonderful food. The old town is pretty and we hope to return to this area for a multi-day visit in the future. As for Bran castle, we just can't recommend it. It's an overrun tourist trap, has virtually nothing to do with Dracula or Vlad the Impaler and is not worth the time in our opinion. After the trip was over, we both agreed that we would have preferred skipping Bran altogether and spending more time in Brasov and/or visiting some surrounding villages given how wonderful Octavian's narratives were. It would be worth asking about customizing the tour when booking. The scenery was fantaastic and we even saw a bear on our way back to Bucharest. One of the best things about this tour is that it is for two people, meaning your entire day has a lot of flexibility. Plus, with a great guide like Octavian, you get to see and do things you would never be able to do in a large group. The car provided was extremely comfortable, impeccably clean and in top condition. We'd do it again in a heartbeat, minus Bran, just to see more of this beautiful country.

Great trip great guide - This trip was a great experience for us. Radu was a great guide who knew a lot about Romania and its history. The places he took us were fascinating and he was able to tell us lots of stories and some fun facts. Radu was very friendly and personable, and our trip felt like we were exploring Transylvania with a friend. Peles castle was amazing. I’ve been to several castles across many European countries, and this one was the most impressive. Brasov was a great city, very quaint with a lot of character. Radu had a great lunch recommendation and was great company. Dracula castle was a nice stop also, lots of history and learning there. Overall it was a great trip and thank you Radu for a memorable and unforgettable trip.

Day trip to Monastery, and Dracula Castle - Radu was prompt, very accommodating and knowledgeable. He gave us plenty of time to tour the castles and walled city, and pointed out hidden features. His car was super clean and water bottles provided for the long day. I wouldn't hesitate using Radu again!

Great experience and exceptional guide! - The visit to Bran and Peles castles was excellent. Radu our tour guide was outstanding. He worked with me in advance to customize the tour to meet our need for a shortened timeframe and we still had time for a pleasant lunch at an outdoor café at Peles castle. I highly recommend this tour and that you request Radu as a tour guide.

Peles Bran (Dracula) castles - Radu took myself and two coworkers to see Peles. Bran (Dracula) castles and Brasov. Private car with hotel pickup/dropoff and personal tour guide. So much better than being on a tour bus.
