Sinnai - A delightful experience awaits animal enthusiasts in a welcoming setting.
Situated close to Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, Sinnai is a quaint town where visitors can admire the traditional Campidanese-style homes, featuring mud-brick walls and wooden roofs, in its historic center. In one of these charming houses, Isabella and Valerio will guide participants in crafting two types of traditional local pasta: malloreddus (also known as Sardinian gnocchi) and culurgiones (ravioli with a unique closure).
The house is also home to two cats and a dog.
(Available only for the lunch option)
Afterward, the group will cook the pasta and enjoy a meal together, accompanied by a glass of delightful local wine and other typical products.

Great cooking and eating experience! - Fantastic cooking class hosted by Isabella and Valerio! They welcomed us into their home, taught us how to make two kinds of delicious Sardinian pasta, and then we all shared a lovely meal with appetizers, our homemade treats, and excellent wine and desserts. We learned a lot about Sardinian culture and felt like part of the family by the time we left. Highly recommend!

Best birthday! - Fabulous class! Isabella and Valerio were wonderful hosts and excellent chef instructors. They welcomed us into their home for the class and made us feel very welcome. We made traditional Sardinian pastas—culurgiones and malloreddus—which we thoroughly enjoyed at lunch along with tasty local appertivos and wine. This was a really great way to spend my birthday. Highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore regional cooking.
Enjoyed spending a little time with their family, Frieda and Bella, too!

Don’t read- just book this experience - This was NOT a cooking class. This was cooking with friends and having an AMAZING experience. Of course, we learned pasta making, a little of Sardinian history, and the night was a great introduction to Sardinia. More than anything, we had an amazing experience and made new friends. If you’re on the fence BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE. My wife loved it, my impossible to please teenage daughters loved it. Stop reading!! Just book! And for Gods sake…no mushrooms on the carbonara!!

Amazing experience making fresh pasta - We really enjoyed our experience with Valerio and Isa, which was so much more than a cooking class into pasta making! They welcomed us into their home, were very patient with my 9 year old daughter and they made the learning of making traditional pasta a lot of fun! They were very organised and clear in communication, easy to find from Cagliari and very easy going. The antipasti, the wine and the pasta we've made together was absolutely delicious! We even got to take home the leftover pasta, which made for a great meal the next day. Highly recommended!

Learn to make two pastas and enjoy a delicious lunch in the host's home - Delicious fun! My husband and I booked this experience in hopes of learning a bit more about making homemade pasta and the Sardinian way of life. We learned a lot and enjoyed the hands-on aspect of making our own pastas. We got to bring home the recipes and definitely plan to make them again. At the end of our class, we enjoyed a complete lunch that included both of the pastas that we made. It was special to us in that we got to meet the family in their own home with a limited number of people. Excellent!

Fantastic experience! MUST DO on your trip to Sardinia - Fantastic teachers, a beautiful traditional Sardinian home, and a delicious meal in great company.
We absolutely loved our experience with Valerio and Isa. They were patient, careful teachers who made a joy out of learning new pasta skills. We will definitely be back to learn more.
Though we've made our own pasta for years, we learned A TON about traditional methods and the differences between flour types.
We took a lot of notes and are happily making pasta at home.
The location was convenient to Cagliari and very easy to find. The class lasted multiple hours and ended with a lovely meal of antipasti, the pasta we made, and delicious local wines.

Sardinian cooking - Valerio and Isabelle were not only wonderful instructors but wonderful hosts. The most memorable part will be having our home cooked meal in their company.

Best cultural experience - The most authentic experience of our trip to Sardinia. Isabelle and Valerio welcomed us into their beautiful home and were excellent teachers to teach us how to make two traditional pasta types. They shared the recipes as well as prepared a beautiful lunch but they were also so knowledgeable about Sardinia itself. A fun activity with our adult children.

Unreliable and Disorganised – Avoid If You’re a Solo Traveler - I booked this cooking class a month in advance and was really looking forward to it. On the day, I was waiting to be picked up as arranged — but nobody turned up. When I contacted the operator, they immediately cancelled, saying it was a “2 person minimum” and that they thought they had cancelled my booking earlier (they hadn’t).
This left me stranded on the roadside, upset, and with my whole day ruined. I hadn’t budgeted for another activity at short notice, and now I have to wait several days for my refund.
This experience was extremely disappointing and shows how unorganised and unreliable the operator is. If you are a solo traveler, I would strongly advise booking with a more reliable company that values communication and doesn’t leave customers waiting with no notice.
