You must van go to Sintra with Van Go Tours - This was our second one day tour with Van Go Tours and our guide Nuno. He is a very punctual person and was ready for us at the hotel. We started off the day with a lot of history as we took the 30 minute drive to Sintra. We learned all about Pena Palace and the Quinta Regaleira which we were about to visit that morning. We were lucky to have Nuno who had the foresight to book the shuttle to Pena Palace which saved us some time and leg strength. We were so efficient yet not rushed. We saw everything in an hour because we had the first time slot tickets for the day, 9:30 AM. Highly recommend to go first thing because the crowd started to build up after only one hour and it’s harder to move around and take pictures. The beauty of the palace is unlike any other in Europe. Next was a quick tour of Sintra historical center, and we tried the dessert travesseiros de Sintra which is a sweet almond and egg custard flat roll. Next up was Quinta Regaleira and the initiation well is everything you see in the photos. But being inside is the experience I will never forget. A tip: try not to wear a long dress because the ground is wet. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Would recommend spending at least 90 minutes here. After a lunch at a Famous Pl., Toca do Julio, we went to Roca Cape, which is the westernmost point of continental Europe for a fun photo stop. We drove through Cascais, which was very busy due to the holiday. It’s a very beautiful seaside town. I cannot say how much having as our guide made a huge difference in terms of enjoyment, efficiency, knowledge, and just in general you can tell he is a good person. He went out of his way to make a second stop to drop me off by myself at my accommodation since my husband was ill and he did not want me to be alone taking the subway back from my friends’s hotel. He went above and beyond!

Most amazing experience and wonderful memories! - My daughter and I had the most amazing experience seeing the greater Lisbon area through the eyes of an extremely knowledgeable guide! Will be sharing our experience with friends is the USA and will be talking about the memories made for our lifetime ❤️

Lisbon Tour - My husband and I spent a beautiful week in Portugal. One of our favorite experiences was an all day guided tour of Lisbon, with our fabulous guide Susana and privat driver, Nunu. Susana was a wealth of knowledge of history, customs and culture. She was genuinely warm and caring and made our day special. We highly recommend this tour.

Comfortable, efficient and very friendly atmosphere - It was very comfortable and informative, and made seeing so many beautiful things in Portugal very easy, pleasant and efficient. Nuno was very kind and adapted to our wants and needs as much as possible. A lot was included in the price and the comfort was next level. Pena was beaufiful and very impressive, as well as the view from Cabo da Roca. Cascais is nice if you want to see some nice shops. The car was great, with AC, Wi-Fi and complementary water, but the best thing was Nuno explaining the history of the place in a friendly manner. It felt like we left with a friend!

Wonderful Day! - We had a fabulous day with Nuno from Van GO tourism. Due to the wildfires, Nuno had to adjust our sightseeing itinerary. It was a seamless transition. Nuno's knowledge of Portuguese history, his sense of humor, and his accommodating manner provided us with a singular experience. Thank you, Nuno and Van GO tourism!
