After the fire that struck the Ajuda Palace in 1794, the Queluz Palace became the official residence of the Portuguese Prince Regent, the future D. João VI, and his family. It remained that way until the royal family escaped to Brazil in 1807, due to the French invasion of Portugal.

All excellent : itinerary of the tour, our guide Marco Antonio and the vehicle. Value for money second to none! - The tour was amazing, we visited everything planned. Our guide Marco Antonio was exceptional: super friendly, excellent predisposition and very extensive knowledge. Always busy explaining ourselves and making us comfortable. He drove very prudently. The vehicle in excellent condition and very comfortable. Plus the cheaper price than other companies and the very personalized treatment (we were just our family, 6 people)

Exceptional - We have a wonderful day with Marco. He went out of its way to explain all of the tours and explain the history behind all the different locations. We went to the beautiful palace, which was a summer Home of the Portuguese royalty at the time and we couldn’t of had a better tour guide thank you Marco

It was a great way to see... - It was a great way to see the towns and was so convenient and informative. Our driver Marco knew the area so well and was a pleasure. He informed us and gave us flexibility. Well worth the money for the private tour!!!

Excellent experience - We took the private tour with driver Marco Aulette, the experience was optimal! Marco developed very much with Spanish , speaking slowly so that we can understand everything (since only one of us understood Portuguese) made us know tourist places and other places of passage that only one resident knows. Marco adjusted to our desires for tours and times, we really spent a very enjoyable day with him, he knows a lot of history and has a really entertaining way of telling it. Marco enhanced our experience alongside these unforgettable landscapes. WE RECOMMEND!

Great tour with Marco! - We had a wonderful tour with Marco. Marco was waiting for us at the port on time. He was very knowledgeable. Even though our time was cut short due to the cruise ship, Marco took every opportunity to show us as much as he could. Definitely recommend Marco.
