Book now - This was a hi light of our trip. Pedro was amazing and exactly what we needed after a last minute decision to come into Sintra. I can’t recommend enough booking the tour with him. My husband , father in law and I had a phenomenal time.

Promised a lot . Don’t quite deliver - It was a great way to go up and down the hills of Sintra . I wish it was easier to hear Anna and it had been a little more informative . It was also just shy of 1 hr so an expensive way to drive up a hill and back . It was a gloried taxi .

10/10 experience - This was a fantastic tour. He was very knowledgeable and took great pictures at each spot. Everyone who visits sintra should book a tour!

Leo was incredible!... - Leo was incredible! Extremely knowledge and very accommodating. We had an evening tour so the are was less crowded. More time for pics and historical titbits! Lovely views. Highly recommend

Rana you are awesome! - Rana went above and beyond. The tour ended up being 2 1/2 hrs instead of 1 1/2. Took lots if great shots together. This is diffinately the way to see Sintra!

LOVED this tour!!! - This tour was a highlight of our trip! Pedro was an amazing guide and such a friendly face to speak to for a couple hours. He was so passionate about Sintra and very knowledgable. It was chilly so he had blankets for us and a surprise near the end. He offered to take all of our pictures and knew the best spots to go to. His kindness was such a joy to be around.

Best tour of Sintra - This tour was amazing! Pedro was very welcoming and did a wonderful job showing us around Sintra. We learned a lot about it during the tour. He was very friendly and took great photos of us. He ended up getting us amazing treats from a famous pastry shop (Fabrica Das Verdadeiras) at the end of the tour which was a wonderful touch. We would definitely recommend his services!

Taken for a ride. - We are now home from what was a wonderful trip to Lisbon. This tour was the only exception. We were completely misled. The driver Ricard was very pleasant, a surfer and local of Sintra …However he did not meet us at the café as described in the tour but rather he was parked around the corner with no warning. Consequently we started 15 minutes late. The tour is not a tour at all but rather a tuk tuk ride to the palace gates which takes a very long time. Ricard stopped at the side of the road to show us places of little interest. We were dangerously parked with many cars passing by as we got out. It was clear we were trespassing and his knowledge was very limited compared to other guides we overheard. At one point we were trespassing on the land of the house of the Horloge ( Clock House) where a man told Ricard to get out in Portuguese. He was not aware that our daughter speaks the language fluently as she lived in Lisbon so she knew exactly what was said. We foolishly wondered why it took so long to reach the palace… he was killing time to make the « tour » appear more than it was. When we arrived at Penne Palace entrance he told us we would have to Uber back to the station if we wanted to see the Penne Palace! That was why we flew 3000 miles to go there! We then discovered other tourists had taken a tuk tuk ride to the top for €20 only. We were completely ripped off and felt like fools. There are tuk tuks everywhere in Sintra offering various tours. Please do not take this one. In truth I would like a refund but in 2019 I tried to get one on my only other Viator booking when my trip up the tower at the Sagrada Familia was cancelled. I never even got a response so I can only surmise that Viator is an unreliable company.
