Scenario with the differential of sympathy of guide Lucia. - The guide Lucia was very nice, very patient and attentive with everyone in the group. I super indicate this guide because it welcomed us affectionately and that makes all the difference in any travel itinerary. We felt in a group that we already knew each other and it was very fun.

WHERETWO Tours DOESN’T KNOW WHERE IT IS going - We signed up for the full day tour of Sintra and Cascais for what we thought would be an amazing day. Instead, we were not informed before booking a tour that there was an Iron Man being run from Lisbon to Cascais that would have a significant impact on the Tour. Obviously no planning had taken place prior to our departure, and we were asked if it would be OK to go to another seaside town to avoid the traffic and the inability to enter the village. Four of the eight persons on this small tour agreed to the new itinerary however, four other people complained to the company and we were forced to follow the tour itinerary. It was a disaster. First of all we spent over four hours of our trip in the vehicle, which in my case was extremely uncomfortable I sat in the front of a minivan with a large centre console, which forced me to cram my legs for four hours in a very uncomfortable position. Clearly, the company was only interested in keeping their fees from the four other persons who rejected the revised plan . We went to Sintra in the morning and all the other tour companies had the same plan which made it just impossible to move around and fully enjoy the village and Peña castle. We spent over two hours finding alternative roads to get the Cascais only to arrive at roadblocks for the cycling portion of the Iron Man competition. Unable to get close to the seaside area we are dropped off at a traffic circle and had to walk considerably long distance for my wife who has mobility issues. We could not access the beach area since it was blocked by the finish line of the Iron Man cycling race. Ultimately it was a waste of time to go there, but our tour guide said it was beyond his control. I would never take another tour with this company nor would I recommend any of their other tours since they’re unable to plan or advise their clients of the impact of special events. It gets a thumbs down 👎🏻. It was recommended by our hotel, Lisbon Dare River.
