Personalized experience for the family! - Americo was an amazing guide for the day! He was very resourceful in making a perfect day despite Sintra being closed due to fire threats. We made a great stop for breakfast before exploring Sintra and Cabo da Roca. We added on a couple hours to experience an amazing seafood lunch on the beach (highly recommended) then spending some time at the beach in cascais. Recommend for anyone who wants a personalized experience for the family.

Great morning outside of Lisbon - A great way to see Sintra and Cascais when you are short on time. We were able to walk around and have some pastries and ice cream and shop. We learned a lot about the history too!

Amazing destinations with a great local guide - Our visit to Pena Castle, Sintra and Cascais was so much better thanks to our amazing driver, Americo Goncalves. His knowledge of the area, from the best coffee shops, beaches and restaurants made our visit very special.

Great day trip - Great day trip from Lisbon. We booked 1/2 day but added on hours so we didn’t have to rush. Pina Palace gardens were beautiful. It allowed us to get close to the palace but we didn’t go inside. Great lunch along the way with a few other stops. Highly recommend.

Our day with Americo as... - Our day with Americo as our tour guide was nothing short of perfect! From the moment he picked us up, it was clear he was dedicated to making our experience special. He tailored the entire tour to our interests, suggesting activities and spots we hadn't even considered, but that turned out to be absolute highlights. His knowledge of the area was impressive, but it was his warmth, humor, and kindness that truly set him apart. Highly recommend Americo to anyone looking for a memorable tour!

Good tour but pay attention to the description!! - Overall it was a good experience; however, if you buy tickets to go into Pena park or to the Palace, or inside Quinta de Regaleira, be aware that this will take up more time than the tour allows for, and you may need to cut something out or pay extra to extend the length of your tour. The tour officially only “passes by” these locations. Our guide Americo was very accommodating, and got us where we needed to be on time, but we did not realize this initially and paid extra to extend the tour, ultimately having him leave us in Sintra so we could spend more time there. We took an Uber back to our hotel.

Terrible tour guide, save your money and take public transport - Our tour guide was terrible. He provided no information to us to help us guide our experience or provide any information about the places we visited. The tour was advertised as customizable but our guide pretty much just decided what we were going to do and was not helpful. Additionally, we asked for an English speaking guide and our guide was definitely not close to fluent and we had lots of challenges communicating with him. I would not recommend this tour. We may as well have taken public transport to Sintra for the day and saved hundreds of dollars.
