You can’t find a better tour! - If you do one thing while in Lisbon, book a tour with Outing!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Outing was incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. We first heard about Outing and Diogo through family who visited Lisbon last Christmas (2024) and highly recommended booking a tour and we’re so glad we did. We booked our tour a few months in advance and even asked to add an extra stop, which Outing was more than happy to accommodate.
The tour itself was amazing from beginning to end. It was just my husband, Diogo, and I, which made it feel very personal and totally relaxed. We were able to go at our own pace and really enjoy the moment.
Diogo was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had, no matter how random. His fluency in both English and Portuguese made everything easy and his insights truly enhanced the experience and made our time in Lisbon unforgettable. We can’t recommend Outing (and Diogo) enough!

Diogo delivers - We cannot say enough good things about Diogo. He picked us up at the airport and was so helpful, charming and informative that we booked a Sintra tour with him. The tour was perfect. He navigated us through the Moorish Castle and the Pena Palace flawlessly. The depth of his knowledge of Portuguese history is incredible. He provided a truly wonderful experience.

Best tour of Lisboa and all of Portugal - A one of a kind tour , with very knowledgeable guide. The guide was very accommodating and friendly. We were a group of 3, and the tour was personalized just for us, from the sights we wanted to see, and the pick up time.
We booked for one day, and after the first tour , we booked many other tours. Highly recommend

Amazing tour with the Diogo, spectacular guide! - Diogo and I went to meet Sintra. Diogo is very friendly, attentive and intelligent!!! He explained everything about the history of Portugal (from the Mouros, Kings, dictatorship and republic), about the castles, the cities, all with the smallest details. It was an immersive visit I had never seen in my life!!! I recommend Outing with closed eyes!!! It was definitely our great hit on the trip! We recommend it to everyone who wants a unique and differentiated experience!!

The Best Experience Ever! - We met Diogo on a UBER ride in Lisbon, and as we were speaking with him, we realized that he works for a Touring company as well. We booked 2 tours with him - one day tour of Lisbon and a day trip to Sintra to see Pena Palace and other Castles. HE IS THE BEST! Very versed in Portugal and Spanish history and educated us throughout the 2 days we were with him. I also have to admit that OUTING PORTUGAL is a very honest and professional company. Unfortunately, on our trip to Sintra, the Pena Palace was closed due to high winds. While this was no fault of Diogo and Outing company, they volunteered to take us again to see the Palace on another day convenient to us at no charge. Now, as luck would have it, on this second visit also, for some unknown reason, the local government closed the Palace again. Diogo brought us back to the hotel and returned our 2 tickets cost. We never expected that as this was not their fault, and they made 2 attempts. Great customer centricity and professionalism and Diogo being an excellent guide! No hesitation at all in recommending him and Outing Portugal. I would give him 10 Stars!!

Diogo is the best! - Diogo was amazing. He was so detailed in his description of everything. The trip was very well planned and we saw everything we wanted to see in Sintra. I highly recommend booking this trip. For just a few extra Euros per person we were able to take a private tour instead of joining a big group.

A special day! - The tour was amazing from start to finish. We had a personalized receptivity, went to pick us up at the hotel with the super clean car, with bottles of mineral water at our disposal, chair for my daughter, during the journey we felt the dominance of the guide Diogo both with the history of Lisbon to Sintra, as well as with every detail of the areas visited. He adapted the tour according to our profile and the day was perfect. I super recommend. We had a day immersed in history.

Templars and Freemasons - If you are interested in the Templar history and their connection with the Freemasons then this is the tour for you. The guide was very well versed in Templar history and took us to relevant sites in Sintra and Tomar. We saw many artifacts in the sites and discussed the connection to Freemasonry beginning in 1307, and the two organizations subsequent relationships.
I am a retired military officer and the guide also highlighted the geographic positioning of castles across the country as a defense in depth scheme. This was also quite interesting.
The trip also included a stop at an excellent restaurant in Sintra.
All-in-all this is an excellent presentation of history delivered by an impeccable tour company. Enjoy yourselves and soak in the incredible history of the Knights Templar and the Freemasons!!!
