Got her moneys worth. - Maria and our driver Miguel made the day special. They tailored the tour to our needs as my husband walks a little slower. They were very accommodating. They also made a great suggestion for a pastry in the morning and the story behind the pastry, and Miguel suggested a place for a quick lunch. Center was like Disneyland for adults and Maria was very knowledgeable about the history about the town the castles everything. We definitely got our moneys worth.

Wonderful time in Sintra! - We had amazing experience with Susana! She was extremely knowledgeable and warm and great with my family and kids. Everyone had a great time and Susana and the company went out of their way to accommodate our needs with the grandparents and young kids (we had 20 month old and 4 year old) and my mom has a weak knee. When we’re back in Lisbon we’ll definitely book again!

Sensational Sintra - Susana was our guide and she immediately bonded with us like family. She is great with children. We took our 10-year old daughter and Susana told us local legends, and stories of her upbringing in Portugal. She entertained our daughter the whole time.
She is very knowledgeable of the history of Portugal, and the sites we visited. She made everything make sense and answered many questions we had.
At Sintra’s Pena Palace, she got us there before the crowds arrived and was able to take numerous family photos before the swarm of tourists. We will forever treasure the photos she took of us. She surprised us with a Sintra Pillow dessert for an after lunch treat.
Our daughter also really loved the grounds of Quinta da Regaleira and the towers and walls of the Moorish Castle. If we ever return to Portugal, we will definitely use this company again and ask for Susana!

Sintra tour with Nuno - Nuno is an experienced tour guide and we benefited from that for a great experience at Sintra. He is a source of both knowledge and humour. He was a wonderful person to spend the day with, like traveling with an old friend.

Professionalism and wonderful attitude! - We traveled with Nuno to Sintra, Nazaré, Cabo da Roca, and then to Porto. An incredible guide - completely dedicated to his profession, very friendly, smiling, honest and always ready to tell more and more. The best restaurant we had lunch at in Portugal was chosen by him. The best views were shown to us again by Nuno. Our most sincere thanks. We recommend him without reservation.

Hands down great tour!! - From the moment we were picked up in their new spacious vans at our cruise ship with MANY big bags (13 of us), we knew we were in the right hands! Suzanne and her colleague provided such a thorough tour…from Belém for pasteis de nada to Sintra, Cascais and back…including a delicious lunch in the quaint town of Sintra. What a delightful full day tour. So much knowledge of the sites and presented in an engaging manner. Never rushed for time, she managed to fit it all in with her wonderful charm and personality. Would definitely book with Van Go Tourism again!!
