Lovely Tour of Sintra - Francisco was a warm, friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide. He was kind enough to meet our timing needs and adjust our activities so that an 82-year old family member could participate. Sintra is a magical place with lots of history. It is a place not to be missed. Francisco shared highlights of the history at just the right level for us. He also directed us to a historical Portuguese bakery and to ensure we got the right items, he sent us photos of the best pastries. He also made restaurant reservations for us and the restaurant also accommodated our schedule, resulting in a delicious lunch. He also took great photos of our family, which we are entering into our shared album. We highly recommend Francisco for an excellent historical overview of Sintra and fast entrance to the sites, with excellent advice regarding what to do and not don’t avoid long lines. We had a wonderful time and were able to soak in the delights of this town in our half-day tour because we were in Francisco’s capable hands.

Best tour ever! - Francisco was professional, knowledge, and simply the sweetest. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and ensure we had the best experience. This is the second time we have had a tour with him and we will be back!

Seeing outside Lisbon city! - We loved our visit to Sintra and Pena Palace! Francisco showed us all the best viewing points along the way. We also enjoyed hearing about the history of all the sites. Francisco proposed the best itinerary to suit our needs. A careful driver, spotless car, a wonderful day out ... thoroughly recommended!

Basso the best - Francisco was an excellent tour guide. First of all, he was a terrific driver. He knew all of the sites to see, when to get there, and knew a great deal about each of these sites. If he couldn’t answer a question, we had, he was able to quickly find the answer, I highly recommend Francisco Basso for a tour guide.

Sintra/Cascais Day Trip - I am so happy that I was recommended this day trip. Francisco was a fantastic tour guide. It was our first time in Lisbon and we were overwhelmed with all there was to see and do. Francisco made it very easy. He was so friendly and good with communication. He answered all our questions and provided recommendations. We were in great hands for our day trip. He was very knowledgeable, welcoming and provided us with water and set up our lunch reservation. We were so glad we booked with him rather than trying to navigate Sintra and Cascais on our own. It saved us a lot of time and money with transportation and having a local's inside tips I highly recommend booking with Lisbon DayTrip. You will not be disappointed!
