Lost and Found in Siwa: A Journey Through Oasis, People, and Legend - Let me start with the place itself. In this green oasis, I was truly lost—in the best way possible. It’s an extraordinary place, but even more remarkable are its people. That spirit was reflected throughout my tour. My guide was Mohammad, and for two days, I felt like I was part of a new family in Siwa. At midnight, I raced down a deep and desolate road on a bike with Arafa to the hot water spring—yet fear never touched me. After sand surfing in the Sahara and savoring chicken barbecue dusted with sand, it felt as if we were escaping a desert storm in a single bound. Sand surfing, desert barbecues, the fierce face of a sandstorm, soaking myself in the hot spring late at night, and floating in the salt lake under the blazing midday sun—what more could one want from life? And yet, I got more: I witnessed the oracle of Amun, who once declared Alexander the Great to be his son. I saw the Shali fortress and the Mountain of the Dead. Immersed in the stories of people, history, and legend, I felt truly blessed. Thank you, Hamada, Mohammad, Arafa, and Minisi.

Great experiecne - Mohammed and Fatima both helped make my time in Siwa unforgettable. The journey to and from Cairo took over 18 hours by van or bus, but somehow, it felt worth every minute. Mohammed was incredibly informative and knowledgeable, while Fatima was both intelligent and caring. Mohammed’s way of presenting his culture was unique and engaging, and I learned so much during my time in Siwa. This trip was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Best experience ever! - Moo is the best guide ever I’ve met!
He took us wherever we want.
When I lost my stuff, he cared about it and even found and gave it to me.

A movie-like experience! - Wow... Siwa oasis is such an amazing place to visit. It is something you only see in stories and movies. But when you experience it, you realize it is so much better than what you see in movies. And it has so much to offer! Who would have thought that an oasis in the desert could hold so many wonders to explore. The people, the history, the nature - it simpy has it all!
Special thanks to Mohamed who was our guide. Without him this experience would not have been half as good as it was with him. This man does this with such love, passion and dedication. He and his team take tourism to another level, for real. Mohamed was friendly and proffesional at the same time. He took care of everything, leaving us only to enjoy our stay in Siwa. And he would always spice things up for us and surprise us :)) and last but not least - made amazing photos and videos of us :)
I would say Siwa oasis and this team is a must if you are coming to Egypt and want to experience the culture, history and nature in the best way possible.

Unforgettable experience - The experience has been brutal! We came after 3 days in Cairo and it has been the most beautiful place we have been. Everything was thanks to our guide Mohamed, he included us 100% in the culture of Siwa, surprised us with a barbecue, showed us the most beautiful places in the village, organized the best activities and made us comfortable at all times. We have completely fallen in love with Siwa and if we come back, which we hope will be soon, it will be 100% with Mohamed, who apart from being our guide, has become our friend.
Experience 100% essential if traveling to Egypt!!

An unforgettable experience! - My friends and I went on this tour in Siwa, this tour has exceeded all our expectations and some more! Mohamed, our tour guide was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was the one who made the entire trip into an experience of a lifetime! His dedication towards the tour and making sure we get the best photos for our trip and enough information all around Siwa was impressive. Siwa is a must visit location if you’re in Egypt, it was not just about the salt lakes and sand dunes, but also about the culture and history of Siwa that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our ecolodge was so beautiful and the owner was very friendly and hospitable. We always felt safe, even though it was just us 3 girls on the trip. We are definitely planning on coming back again and booking the same tour with more friends, who wished they could have joined us after seeing our trip.

sun, salt, sand & serenity - I travelled to Siwa oasis alongside my friends. Booking from Siwa Natives made the trip memorable & convenient for us three women. Siwa gave us the impression that it was just that of salt lake initially; but, it is definitely more than just that. It offered us a great break from the bustling hospital duties that the 3 of us endured lately. We travelled all the way from Cairo and they offered us a free ride to our lodge from the Siwa bus station (take note: the tour does not even start until the following day!). We were looked after very well by Mr. Full-energy Mohammed (despite that he was fasting for Ramadan). We were well-fed, needs attended and spoiled with good photography; because of these photos, our friends were jealous and we are planning to come back! If you are still ruminating whether you should book this tour or not, fret not, as I was in your shoes too (before!). Nobody knows Siwa than the locals and what other way to experience but to book it directly from them. :) Hopefully you will enjoy Siwa as much as me & my friends did!
