A Journey Through Time and Sand

The allure of Siwa Oasis had long been on my radar, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Egypt’s Western Desert. As a wildlife photographer with a penchant for adventure, the promise of exploring ancient ruins, floating in salt lakes, and embarking on a desert safari was irresistible. My journey began with a seamless transition from the bustling streets of Cairo to the tranquil embrace of Siwa, thanks to the impeccable organization by Mahmoud and his team.

Our first stop was the Shali Fortress, a crumbling yet majestic structure that offered a panoramic view of the oasis.
