• Millennium Cross - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Skopje and transported to the base of Vodno Mountain, where the cable car departs. The cable car will take them to the Millennium Cross, the highest point on the mountain, offering a panoramic 360-degree view of the Skopje plain.
• Mountain of Vodno - The hike to Matka Canyon begins here, with a visit to St. Nikolas Church along the way. The hike is considered to be of medium difficulty.
• Matka Canyon - After a pleasant 4-5 hour walk, participants will arrive at Matka Canyon, where they can rest and optionally enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant.
• Vrelo Cave - Following the break, visitors have the opportunity to explore Vrelo Cave by hiring a local boat. Finally, they will return to Skopje and their hotel by car or minivan.

Embark on an intermediate to challenging hike to Skopje’s most stunning nearby location, Matka Canyon. Our first stop will be the Millennium Cross, overlooking the impressive Skopje plain from a high vantage point. Upon reaching Matka, you’ll be captivated by the abundant wildlife and lush vegetation that fill this gorgeous canyon. Nearby, you’ll find the Cave Vrelo, one of the world’s deepest submerged caves. This is a journey you won’t want to miss.
