Amazing and efficient tour. - Experience: My tour guide is Peter, with his icelandic wife. I went on mid november so almost every attractions are super chill. They were also willing to take great pictures of me. It was a very warm and sweet journey. Peter drives fast, which helps us save a lot of time transporting but experiencing (for later attractions are just 15 minutes apart) We also made an extra stop to a volcano without knowing beforehand, which is a surprise. Also, they helped us reserve lunch at a restaurant which we didn’t ask for, very considerate especially for elders and children who needs to eat periodically or someone who wants real food in a real restaurant. For the pickup, they will whatsapp you if there are any last minutes changes about the pickup time to keep you updated even you booked via an agent. Admission fee: I booked on Getyourguide alongside with other tours, which have a discount, I think this tour is like around 115 to 120 EUR. Pretty affordable as a solo traveller student who wants to see the most about the sea features and take good pictures. Length of visit: they picked me up at my accommodation before 8 after requesting through email. And we got back to Reykavik around 8 at night, so approximately 12 hours. Crowd size: a total of 7 people only, which is super small and I liked it so much, without getting overwhelmed by large group of people. We also have elders and children, they took care very well. Atmosphere: very informative, and they are willing to answer all kinds of questions at the best they can. They also play Icelandic music throughout the journey which is pretty new to any tourists I’d say. Staff: Peter and his wife shared a lot how they love about iceland purely, and are willing to talk about their experiences if anyone is interested. They even told a story about troll, which is very amazing to me as my short trip is packed with tours without any museum visits. I would recommend you don’t go on a northern light tour the night before this tour begins, as it starts super early and the northern light tour ends too late, this is my experience of getting only 3 hours of sleep… I would also recommend take this tour before going to the southcoast tour as I felt kinda underwhelming after finishing the south coast tour prior to this tour. Nothing to do with the guides, just my priority of the waterfalls and glacier over sea features. If you want to be budget, bring a lot of snacks and bread onbroad purchased in bónus, so you don’t have to spend extra money on eating and buying snacks from the overpriced convenient stores during the break or at the attractions. I think the most exciting part of this journey is seeing the sea seals, however, it’s getting dark when we arrive there because it’s winter time. Therefore, it’s lowkey hard to distinguish between the rock and the real seal as the last stop of the journey, but I believe it would be amazing if you book this tour in the summertime.

Stunning Scenery & Peaceful Adventure – Snæfellsnes Peninsula Tour - The Snæfellsnes Peninsula small group tour was one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences I had in Iceland. If you’re looking to escape the crowds and see a different side of the country, this tour is perfect. The landscapes were so varied between the lava fields, black sand beaches, dramatic cliffs, charming fishing villages, and of course, the iconic Kirkjufell mountain. Our guide Daphne was fantastic, sharing stories about local folklore, old sagas, and the mystical presence of Snæfellsjökull glacier. The small group setting made the day feel relaxed and personal, with plenty of time at each stop to explore, take photos, and truly soak in the surroundings. Highlights included Arnarstapi’s rugged coastline, where we walked along lava rock formations with crashing waves below, and Djúpalónssandur beach, a hauntingly beautiful black pebble beach steeped in history. Seeing Kirkjufell and its waterfall was a bucket-list moment; just as breathtaking as the photos, if not more. What I loved most was the peacefulness of this area compared to the more famous routes. The peninsula feels untouched and raw, with endless views and a sense of Iceland’s wild heart. Even after a full-day tour, I felt refreshed rather than exhausted. If you’re looking for dramatic scenery, quiet beauty, and a deeper connection to Icelandic nature beyond the Golden Circle, I highly recommend this Snæfellsnes journey. An unforgettable day filled with serenity, storytelling, and spectacular sights.

Fun experience - This was a wonderful tour. The planned stops are a good distance from Reykjavik so a good portion of the tour is spent driving to/from and between the stops. Enough time was allowed at each stop to enjoy them without feeling rushed. I’m glad I booked a tour versus trying to rent a car and drive it myself!

A Full Day in Iceland - Wow! Our guide was amazing and was in constant contact with pick up information and was great throughout the tour! He was personable and friendly and had great stories to share. We enjoyed all the stops and the lunch was delicious! We booked a small group tour and it ended up being a private tour for the 5 of us! We highly recommend this tour and this tour company!

Covered a lot of territory - It was a long day, but we were prepared for it and our guide ensured everyone was comfortable. Made several stops and had time to walk around and absorb the unique scenery at each.

5 stars for Laura; 2 stars for Nodur - Our guide Laura was wonderful. This was her first time leading this tour, but she did so expertly in both English and Spanish. Part of our issue with the tour is that the company seemed to have put two different language groups together, which made discussion and directions more difficult. The van was uncomfortable and cramped and it was a long drive. There was also a mix-up with the timing at pick-up due to the company not contacting participants with the correct information early enough in advance. The trip itself was interesting, some gorgeous scenery.
