Happy snorkelingday 😃 - We had such a great experience! Rosa knows her island very well and guided us on the way to the beautiful snorkeling spot! She is calm and gave good information! The yellow jeep is legendary as well 😄

Fun, exciting, interesting jeep tour with snorkeling in the Atlantic ocean from the shore of a lovely village. - Rosa made the tour fun and interesting. She took extra care of my wife who had a leg fracture several months ago. Rosa was extremely patient and helpful and took good care of all of us. She snorkeled with us and pointed to many types of fish and even an octopus. She also toured us around on the way and discussed may aspects of life in the Azores. She was very friendly and personable.

Unprofessional, ill equipped, one man band - Rosa is a friendly lady, which is why this review gets one star, even though the experience deserves zero stars. There were 4 of us in the group, and 2 of us dont know how to swim, but she said that wasnt a problem. It was supposed to be a 3 hour snorkelling experience, but she spent over an hour and a half driving us around the island for no good reason. She finally took us to a really manky, crowded, filthy site in Caloura, heaving with people everywhere and no beach to sit on if you didnt wish to be constantly in the water. Literally no where to sit except some filthy steps. We had read about amazing boat tours that take you out to a beautiful spot buzzing with sea life - this is not it. She took us to a horrible spot with very ordinary fish in the water, the kind you can see in any pet store. One of the people in the group backed out because of the unpleasant location, and not feeling confident in that area since she couldnt swim, as well as being given equipment by Rosa that didnt fit well. She felt very uneasy and did not participate. Even though Rosa knew beforehand that she couldnt swim, she is clearly not trained to help or even get participants to relax. To add insult to injury, Rosa didnt refund her a dime. She kept 75 euros for zero service rendered. So different to all the kind, honest people in Sao Miguel that we met while we were there. The other 3 participants all agreed that the experience was disappointing and underwhelming and a complete waste of time and money. We were on the island a whole week and enjoyed every experience except this one, which was the worst part of our trip. Please find a professional company that owns a boat and takes you to a suitable location.
