Plovdiv is approximately a 2-hour drive from Sofia, located in the western Thracian Valley. It is among the world’s oldest settlements, originating on three nearby hills, with a history dating back to 4,000 BC. The city showcases Thracian, Roman, and Bulgarian heritage from various eras. In Plovdiv, enjoy a 2-hour guided walking tour through the town’s center, learning fascinating historical facts and legends while visiting its most intriguing sites. After the guided tour, there will be about 3 hours of free time for lunch and shopping. The estimated return to Sofia is between 5 pm and 5:30 pm.

• In rare cases, if fewer than 3 participants select the same guided language (English, Italian, or Spanish), the tour will be conducted with an audio guide or smart guide instead of a live guide. This will not affect the price or the overall tour itinerary as described in your reservation.
