The former museum will enlighten you about Bulgaria’s ancient heritage, while the latter will divulge the history of our country during the 20th century monarchy period, when Sofia transformed into the heart of our nation. As part of the day tour, we’ll uncover the remnants of the Roman city of Serdica, visiting places like the Roman ruins, St. Sofia church, and St. George’s rotunda. We’ll also showcase other notable sites such as the Alexander Nevski cathedral - the city’s emblem, the royal palace, the main building of Sofia University - a work of art from the late 19th century, the parliament, the Communist administrative center, the captivating view of the “Horseshoe”, and the historic “The Bells’ monument.
