We had a fascinating visit to two incredible temples. Our guide was wonderful, knowledgable l, fluent in English and engaging. She made the experience even more enjoyable with her warmth and great care. We felt well looked after and had a lot of fun!

Thanks Mohamed - Two days ago, we had a full day tour of Abydos and Dendra with Mohamed from Luxor. Our tour guide and driver were excellent. The tour guide Mohamed explained the 2 temple perfectly 👌 and gave us all possible information while we are in car on our way to temples. Mohamed shared with us some interesting stories about each temple. We enjoyed a lot our time with him. We visited many places in Egypt 🇪🇬 but this trip was unique and beautiful. It was amazing 👏;Mohamed was a very kind 😇 and caring person.

Get ready for a full day of sales pitches, not cultural education. - Honestly, I try not to leave negative reviews because I know this is livelihood for a lot of the tour guides. But my recent trip was one of the worst ones I believe I’d ever had in all my travels. From the minute we met, I was relentlessly pitched other tours the guide led - from cairo, esna, abu simbel, aswan, luxor, etc - all with absolutely zero prompting or interest from me. I tried not to be rude, just saying thank you, but I’m not interested. He didn’t care, it kept going all day and it was relentless. It got to a point where I felt distracted and disrespected for my time with the tour because I genuinely wanted to engage with my day’s itineraries, and the beautiful sites we were visiting. When we got to the sites, he conducted the tour on autopilot, almost like a trained tour guide robot. It was the opposite of engaging frankly, and I was rarely given pause to think or ask about what he’d just said, instead had to trail after him as he’d already moved onto the next place of interest. It’s saddening to know that sometimes we’re seen as mere dollar signs rather than visitors wanting to respect and learn about their ancient culture. Heartily disappointed, and I hope that my experience isn’t a reflection of other guides offered through this tour.
