Attendees will enjoy a brief presentation from the staff or possibly David Alan himself, detailing the shop’s history and mission. With three levels to explore, this destination is a must-visit during and after the tour.
• Madison Gallery - Situated along the Art Alley, the Madison Gallery is adjacent to the iconic Wonder Woman statue that guards Solana Beach. Established in 2001, the gallery highlights contemporary artists at various stages of their careers, maintaining a high standard for the contemporary art on display. Curator Lorna York will provide insights into the current featured artists and answer any questions about the exhibited pieces.
• Aaron Chang Ocean Art Gallery - The next stop is the internationally acclaimed Aaron Chang Ocean Art Gallery. Chang is celebrated for his ocean photography, with 37 covers for Surfing Magazine, showcasing his exceptional ability to capture the ocean’s raw beauty and the synergy between waves and surfers. • Gelato 101 Solana Beach - After departing the shop, participants will enjoy a leisurely stroll to Gelato 101 for a complimentary beverage or gelato of their choice.
